I made it. I made it. All the way to Onderland! I'm down 32.3 lbs. and I'm in Onderland! Thank you Nutrisystem and the 50+ Support Group, couldn't have done it without all of you. I've been so determined to get below that 200 mark and I've done it. For all the Newbies, NS works if you follow the plan, drink your water (ALL your water plus!), and Exercise. All 3 things work together to make your new lifestyle a success!

Hope everyone has a great weekend cuz I know I'm going to. (Teehee

Just thought y'all would like to know how well NS works. I just tried on an old (smaller) pair of jeans. A couple months ago I couldn't even get them buttoned but...(drum roll please) today I actually got them all the way up, zipped, AND buttoned! Seven months ago I really didn't know if I was going to be able to do this or not and now I'm on the other side of that and it really DOES work! Thank you NutriSystem for such a great program!

Happy un-hungry Wednesday to everyone!!

We were visiting my mother-in-law the other evening and she asked me to get her something. Well this put me in the position to be walking away from her. When I got back into the room she told me: I can really tell you've lost weight from the "rear". I thanked her politely. But then...when I was telling my DH about it I laughed til I dang near cried. She has such a way of phrasing things. I thought it was soooo funny. Hope I made you all laugh.

Almost to Onderland. Almost. I'm down 31. 4 lbs since Feb 2nd. That's not a land and speed record but it is a great accomplishment for me.

If any of the newbies want a great BB, go to the Fit at 50 forum and then click on the thread for the 50+Group. You will get tons of encouragement, loads of information, and lots of laughs.

Today is my busy day, getting ready for the new week. Hope everyone has a great 100% NS (non-hungry) Day! ~~Faye

I've been posting for weeks and never realized that the system isn't retaining my posts!! I've been leaving congrats and happy b'days and all sorts of encouragement and NOTHING is being posted. WHY?

Today has been a great day. It really has. I weighed this morning and I am within 2/10 of a lb of my lowest so far. I hope to continue the "downward spiral". LOL

We've canned 26-4oz jars, 1-8oz jar, and 1-pint of  fresh blackberry jam. Along with 19 quarts of fresh peaches. Won't that all taste good when the snow is on the ground? I haven't made jam in a long time and it really tastes good! (I only had a little taste from the one jar that didn't seal. PROMISE!)

I've been so good this whole week. I've lost 2.7 lbs in the last week. That's a record for me (since the first week's loss).

I have been 100% (except for the one little bitty bite of jam) for the last four days. I've also been drinking water like there is no tomorrow. I've increased my activity level. So if  the Newbies want to know how to make this plan work. There's your answer. Stay 100% on plan, drink ALL your water, and do the Big E everyday. NS Rocks!

Today is my 180th day on NS. Today also makes 3 days straight of 100% on plan. As of today I've lost a total of 26.3 lbs. That is more than half way to goal. I know my page says I've lost more (which I did--at that time). I made two trips to TX (which = Mexican food) in April and in June so I've gone up a bit on the scale. But...I am now headed in the right direction again. And, I will be perfectly happy if I can lose another 25 lbs in the next six months. That will be a little below my initial goal. After all I have to learn how to function sans NS at some point. So if I incorporate a little learning during the trip as opposed to a crash course at the end maybe I will have a better chance of maintaining goal! I have to work a while tomorrow but it will be payday so that makes it worth going. Right? Some of the posts today have been extremely insightful and I have truly enjoyed reading them. Thanks for all the support! Wishing everyone a great non-hungry weekend! Ciao!
So totally awesome! I've been so on plan. And the scale shows it! I'm still trying to lose the 5 lbs that I put on in June. (June was an awful month for me) But hey, I've got the scale going in the right direction again and that is a plus. NS is such a great plan and it works so effortlessly. I've spent this evening playing games on the NS game forums with some very nice ladies and gents. Just been an enjoyable time for a change. Hope all of you have a super Sunday!
What is with this month? We have lost so much in June, family, friends, acquaintances, the chickens! Is anyone else having a "bad" month? It just seems to be neverending. This weekend was not good. I've gained instead of losing. I guess I've just let all the death get to me. Thanks for listening. Just needed to put it in writing. Now maybe it will all go away.
YIPPEEEE! After today I get two whole days off. Just gotta get thru today. I will work in a different pharmacy in a little town about 25 miles south. So it will be a change of scene. I like changes sometimes. Like having fruit with no fat cottage cheese for my dairy & fruit for breakfast. Just something different but something I control calorie/portion wise. Will do a lot of walking today cuz the store is larger than my regular store. (Effortless exercise!) Does anyone have big plans for the weekend? Wish everyone a super weekend! TTYL!
But we accomplished a lot. I've been 100% for another day (so far). I've already drank almost 120 ounces of water. I used to never drink water. EVER. I drank diet soda all day long. Now I feel like I couldn't live without my water. Hope everyone has a terrific Friday! Be good 100% to see results.
