Its good that you are doing this for yourself! Its a good program and yes, it will be cheaper and less painful than bypass surgery.

Hi Shrinking: I am in week two and the best advice I can give you is to go on the chat room with a counselor anytime you get confused about the plan or even if you are getting discouraged. I chatted with one at the start of week two and she was great. She looked at what food I had logged in throughout my first week and gave me clarification as to what I was doing right and what I needed to correct. This is a great program to be on. And coming from a nurse who has taken care of many gastric bypass patients over the years, a lot cheaper and less painful. Take advantage of the discussion boards. You will find a wealth of knowledge and tremendous support. That is what separates this program from others. Good luck in your journey.
