When I'm not losing....
I find when I'm not being successful I don't write on my blog. I'm back up to 190! This is discouraging. If I stayed the same weight I could handle that. But to gain back doesn't sit well. I've stepped up my exercise and I'm following the meal plan exactly. I'm not doing enough exercise to build muscle so that can't be it. This is when the expense of the plan start nagging at me.

I easily identify with what you shared. I pull back when I'm disappointed with myself, I feel embarrassed. Reading your blog reminded me, so I'm reminding you there's no reason to feel embarrassed - none! We do the best we can and learn from our mistakes/weak moments. I need to visit this site more often to get the support I need and to give it back! You go Grrrl! ...and Thanx!!

Don’t be disappointed, call an NS counselor right away and tell them what you’re experiencing… they are best suited to advise you.

Remember; what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another so get custom tailored advice that will work for you.

Best wishes… Fran

oh rats! You were so excited to get to 189! Well, you still have lost about 15 pounds, right? I don't know about others, but my weight fluctuates also. But just hang on! If I remember correctly, you struggle with constipation too. I know that can affect the scale. Once when i was prepping for a colonoscopy, I lost 10 pounds overnight after drinking that stuff that made me run to the bathroom over and over all night! Of course it was right back on...but sometimes I like to think I really weight 10 pounds less than the scale says, I am just so full of crap it makes me weigh more!!!
Please don't give up okay?

I never logged an increase in weight and as long as I didn't experience increases on consecutive days it didn't matter. I did sit at the same weight for several days a number of times. I kept at the program, however, and made sure to include all aspects which include eating properly (not too many calories OR too few), log everything you eat, do your exercise faithfully, use the social network here for support. While it is annoying to go above your milestone marker, it's only temporary as you continue to press forward. I hung around my goal weight for two weeks before I finally plunged four pounds in four days. It will happen to you, too, if you stay true to your goals.
