What a great Sunday I had! My daughter and granddaughters were so nice to have around for a day.

The only “flaw” in the day was the chocolate cupcake I ate to celebrate my granddaughter’s 17th birthday!

I stayed on program otherwise, so there shouldn’t be any weight gain –
I hope! To prevent temptation, I made them take the remainder of the
cupcakes home with them!

I have eaten all the food I am allotted for today, but if I get really
hungry, I do have a few cherries or grapes I can eat. Yum. I love
cherries, especially the bing cherries, so I have to closely monitor my
intake of them.
I hope everyone did well and stayed within the limits of their diet this weekend.

Actually, I choose not to think of our eating program as a diet. I
think of it as a way of life. It has to be for me because I cannot
afford to keep carrying this much weight. My hips and ankles will be
grateful, as will my heart, lungs and other vital organs, when I reach
my goal. I’ll be grateful, too, to look better and wear clothes that
look and fit better. A win-win situation!

We’re in this together, so let’s not hesitate to contact each other
when we need support. The blogs and boards are great for that! ~~~Joan
