I wish I were sitting on a tropical island somewhere in the South Pacific. Doesn't that sound inviting? I have a calendar in front of my computer with a picture of a tropical beach on each page. July's is gorgeous and so inviting! The water is blue and clear, and there is nice shade under the palm trees bordering the beach. I lived in Hawaii for two years when I was 10 to 12-years old and, having loved it tremendously, still idealize it. I don't suppose I'll ever get to go back, but I can keep buying calendars like the one I have and dream. Dreaming is good. Life is good.  :)

Life right now really is good. I get a three-day weekend to celebrate Independence day. Yay! I'd probably go stark raving mad if I didn't work, but there are times when I would love to stay at home and quit  fighting rush hour traffic every day!

Plus, I have lost 35 pounds! You cannot beat that!
