A little slower this week thanks to sushi...

Hi. Ok. Went out on Tuesday night with some coworkers to what was going to be mexican and this restaurant even had fajitas with whole wheat tortillas!! But alas the service was horrible so we left and went for sushi. I ordered a very expensive plate of sashimi and sushi and alas this time no brown rice only white. Well...I had some. It was ok. But I also had some sake and miso soup which of course stalled my progress this week. So..now we know don't we? Yes it was healthy and actually didn't make me gain any more weight but I could have lost a few more pounds otherwise. Yes Yes I had some Sake and at the mexican restaurant I also had a corona light but otherwise I am sticking to my new eating habits and am enjoying the wonderous exhilaration of losing weight.

Sometime this weekend I am going to go buy a measuring tape and measure myself. This is my second month on NS and I'm so excited! I want to see if I am actually losing inches too.

My only concerns are that I have been having slight chest pains (no, my left arm isn't numb) and it happens when I am laying down at night or sometimes walking up the steps near the subways. Walking in New York is brisk, and I am having more energy, but why the sudden chest pains?

I guess I'll be ok. On another note...not sure if this is connected to NS but I also had a period for 2 weeks. The week before I normally do and the week of. My mom says when your body is changing like losing weight this can happen..has anyone heard this before?

Wish everyone the best of luck and much success!

I love sushi! I had some in front of me today thatnks to my co-workers but I did not eat any!

Yes walking here in NY can get fast at times. Have to keep up with the masses!

If you are having any kind of odd pains you SHOULD get the doctor to check you out. It could be nothing OR it could be something!! Better to be safe than sorry!! We don't want to lose you after you have been doing so well!

Let us know how things turn out..ok?

Visit the website www.thedailyplate.com - or www.myfitnesspal.com - or www.dwlz.com or www.dietfacts.com. You will find nutrition info on your add-ins as well as restaurant, fast food and mall eateries. Once you do searches about the foods you used to eat and want to eat that are not on the program, you will realize the bad choices you used to make. If your going to out and know in advance where you will be dining, see if that restaurant has a website with their menu and nutrition info. Uno's Chicago Grill has a great site where their menu is broken down into categories such as "under 500 Calories" "less than 750 mg of sodium" "greater than 5g of Dietary Fiber" etc.( Just be aware that the serving size is 2 not 1) The 2 I have been to had a computer with the nutrition page pulled up so you can choose your meal before you sit down. If you need a $30.00 off coupon , send your N.S. email address to me at nutribuddy@gmail.com.
