finished week 3 halfway through 4

In case some of you have been wondering. . .no, I didn't fall off the face of the earth. lol  I've just been very busy with company & birthday parties etc.  I lost 3 lbs. my 3rd week (total of 12 now) and am now half way through my 4th week.  I had gotten down to only having food left that I truly did NOT like. Ugg.  So, I blame that for me giving in and eating birthday cake at my daughter's party.  :-(  That was a couple of days ago, and so far the scales don't show a gain.

Fortunately, my 2nd shipment arrived Wednesday afternoon! YEAY!!!!  All the foods I love. . .and to my surprise, NONE of my chocolate was melted this time!!!!!  I am in heaven now, and gung ho once again.  I am back to really enjoying NS now that I have my favorite foods!  I also called the company and did an exchange.  It cost me $12 shipping to send back 11 breakfasts, 7 lunches, 2 dinners and 1 dessert.  I didn't think this was bad at all, and NS already has my replacements shipped (same day I called)!  So, I'm all set and ready to keep losing!  Hopefully I can keep up the will power!  We've got a wedding to attend tomorrow night.  Temptation lurks in every corner doesn't it?!

Next week I'll be going to a youth camp with my eldest son.  I am packing all my food to take with me.  When we are on the road traveling, I am planning to use a calorie counter book to keep my meals under 1200 calories.  That seems to be the best solution since I won't have access to a microwave.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! Thanks for always being so supportive!

Congrats on the success! Thanks for posting that about the food you sent back. I wondered what to do about the spaghetti and whatever else I might end up not liking.
How did you know it was time to order again? Did they send you a message?

Yes, they sent me a message through e-mail and it gave a link to where you could change your menu to things you like. BEWARE: When you get the e-mail, change things ASAP because they pack your order a few days before the ship date and you can't change it. You might even want to call and find out when your next ship date is so that you'll know when to expect the e-mail. I think there might have also been a message on the NS home page for me.

It is also VERY simple to send things back. They ask you to write a list of how many breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts you are sending back and what they are. Then you write a list of what you want in exchange. Then you call them and tell them how many you are sending back of each and what you want in return. When you go to UPS to ship it back, you'll have a conf. number to put on the address slip. You also have to put the lists you made in the box with the food you are returning. Very simple. . .I thought. Well worth it and less hassle compared to trying to trade food with people etc. Hope this helps!

I'm so happy for your for your weight loss!! You are making such progress! SmileyCentral.com

I am glad you told us about sending food back. I have some chicken and dumplings I despise. The rest of what I have now I like. I learned early on to tailor my orders to my taste.

I hope you have a good week this week and continue to lose.
