My biggest ones normally doing with thinking I could lose even more weight faster if I just skipped the dessert, or skipped lunch or didn't add the extras. I'm just not able to handle that. I cut the calories too much, I will eventually find a way to over eat and blow it, even it it is waking up in the middle of the night with my stomach growling and chowing down on a few desserts : | So even with those mistakes, this progream really does work. And I really still am so enjoying the food. I have my favorites and my foods I would never order again. And sometimes my favorites are someone else's worse nightmare of a choice. So just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone who is struggling along or has made a few mistakes. And I've said it before and will likely say it many times. I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated the support from everyone on this site or the many new friends I've made here. Enjoy your weekend and know you can do it! It was only 20 bucks for everything (nothing but batteries needed), so I thought, "Why not?" It looked similar to Dance Revolution, except you use sensors on your feet instead of a mat. While I am extremely coordinated and can learn dance moves, I just jumped right in to medium level. I thought, "This will be a piece of cake!" I'm so glad my blinds were down and curtains drawn, as I can only imagine I looked like I was being attacked by a swarm of angry bees. I laughed pretty much throughout the entire song, and when it was over, I noticed my dogs staring curiously at me, which only furthered my laughing. Thank God they can't use the video option on my iPhone.

I've begun writing a book, and fiction at that. I've started many and finished a couple, but I've never published my fiction. I've had a couple of professional articles published, but nothing to write home about (no pun intended). This book will be semi-autobiographical/humorous, with some embellishments here and there. I have kept a journal throughout my life and some of the things that have happened to me don't happen to many --- just my luck. One of the incidents involved my Labrador (who got into everything as a puppy), some girlie under garments, and the gardener. I'll allow you glean from that what you will.

As far as my diet, I don't think much about it anymore. It's just a natural part of my life now. I'm excited in that I'm nearing my second twenty pound mini-goal, just 6 pounds shy. I don't even want any of the food I used to crave.

Blog out. :D

OptimisticDanihttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/OptimisticDani/Default.aspxWeek 2 Weigh inhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/lilwaterone/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/lilwaterone/Archive/2010/3/20/584872.aspx2010-03-20T05:45:00Z2010-03-20T05:45:00ZDown one pound this week. Kind of disappointed since it's only week 2, I ran 12 miles this week and ate the food. Hoping next week will just be better. I've been having a hard time drinking the 8 glasses of water everyday so that is my goal for this week, along with running 5 days and eating only NS this week. I had one NS meal last week, although it was only 550 calories...oh well. Feeling healthier.lilwateronehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/lilwaterone/Default.aspxProductive day!http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/valeriawoods123/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/valeriawoods123/Archive/2010/3/20/584866.aspx2010-03-20T05:38:00Z2010-03-20T05:38:00ZWow, so despite the fact that I have a bad sinus infection/headache I was able to get a lot acomplished. I cleaned my house, gave both of my cats and my dog a bath! Yeah me and yeah NS! Thank you God for the energy to get so much acomplished. NS gives me plenty of energy! I'm doing my best to drink a lot of water today. I've been drinking too much diet coke! Stay strong and God bless everyone!valeriawoods123http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/valeriawoods123/Default.aspxThe shed demolition!!http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/jennlovessteve/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/jennlovessteve/Archive/2010/3/20/584868.aspx2010-03-20T05:35:00Z2010-03-20T05:35:00Z
Ok I am going to ignore the difference in the blog set up for a moment - but I will totally be playing with that next time!

So today it is so beautiful out and rather than head to my parents' beach house like a sane person and enjoy the St. Patrick's Day parade I decide to demolish the ugly decrepid shed in my back yard. I thought that it would be a great work out!

So Steve went to help dad return something to UPS and I totally cleared out the shed - all of my junk was all over the backyard. I threw most of it out because the shed leaked and there was a mouse and it smelled - it was very unpleasant. Then Steve came back and was very surprised to see the mess I made. So now it is on - that shed is going down. Oh they tried to pull and emergency stop Jenn move by trying to get a demo guy - but on a Sat? Unlikely! He was probably at the shore! So Steve and I are ripping the shed down! He is sawing - I am dragging stuff out the the curb. I am amazed at how long we worked before we needed a break. Now we took a break and I feel like I cannot even move my arms at all! But we have a shed with a whole side missing so we are going to have to suck it up and get back out there (in 5 more minutes!)

Anyway the point of this post is that this would not have been possible just 3 months ago but now that we have lost weight we are so much stronger and have so much more energy! It is fabulous! I better go back to work!
jennlovesstevehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/jennlovessteve/Default.aspxMy Food is Here!!http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/farozookeeper/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/farozookeeper/Archive/2010/3/20/584859.aspx2010-03-20T05:23:00Z2010-03-20T05:23:00ZI started eating nutrisystem's food yesterday. My food got here on Thursday. I've clean out a place in my cabinet to store all the food. So far the foods I have tried taste good. So that is not a problem. It seems that I can eat enough that I don't have to feel deprived. I have decided that I will not drink any diet cokes at home. That way maybe I can get all my water in for the day. I have got to get use to eating all the vegetables we are allowed. I'm not much for vegetables. All in all it's working out pretty well.farozookeeperhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/farozookeeper/Default.aspxStill going....http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/rtandj/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/rtandj/Archive/2010/3/20/584858.aspx2010-03-20T05:08:00Z2010-03-20T05:08:00Z
So I didn't log on Wednesday like I usually do...because the scale said I had gained a 1/2 lb. :( Today however, I was down another pound. (YAY!) Now I'm wondering if I should avoid my weigh in on Wednesdays. After working all weekend and trying to catch up on my sleep Tuesday night, maybe Wednesday I'm retaining water or something? I still seem to have a problem with energy and motivation though. It's everything I can do not to go back to bed, but usually do anyway! :) And then end up sleeping for 4-5 hours. My days seem wasted! I'm thinking I need to increase my meds. I tried to leave a message for the psych, but her VM is always full. I'll have to wait til Monday or Tuesday now. ~sigh~

(Any other ADDer's out there having problems?)

On another note...I tried to make sure I did everything I was supposed to so I could get notifications from people posting on my blog, but wasn't getting any e-mails no matter what I did. I sent a message to NS support asking why I haven't been receiving any. Their reply was that "this feature to receive email subscriptions is currently disabled." Just thought someone else might want to know. Very frustrating to do all you can to solve a problem only to find out it was in vain!

ALSO...last thing, really - does anyone else have problems with the right hand side of blogs being cut off? I also notified NS about this and was only told that their website works best with IE 6, 7, or Firefox browsers. I have IE 8, so I logged onto another computer with IE 7 but had the same results. I've tried all my viewing settings, and that's not the problem. Anyway, was just wondering if it's me... :o)

I'll try to log on Wed AND Sat next week and see if my theory holds true!

Have a great week everyone! And thanks for all the support and encouragement!
rtandjhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/rtandj/Default.aspxWeek 13http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/funcurlygirl/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/funcurlygirl/Archive/2010/3/20/584854.aspx2010-03-20T05:04:00Z2010-03-20T05:04:00ZFinally down 20 pounds! Am getting better at sticking to it although I cannot yet say that I don't ever cheat. Am working on that for my next goal. funcurlygirlhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/funcurlygirl/Default.aspxThird weigh-in, down another 7!!!http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/LIVEfrom201/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/LIVEfrom201/Archive/2010/3/20/584845.aspx2010-03-20T04:44:00Z2010-03-20T04:44:00ZMy third weigh-in and I'm down another 7 lbs.! So, that's 25 in total!!! I'm only 2 1/2 weeks in so I'm still super excited and this motivates me to exercise even more. This week I walk/jogged 9 miles in total. I started on a free account on nikerunning.nike.com to track my runs since I someday want to run a marathon but I'm still to heavy at this point to actually run. I recommend Nike's site for anyone that wants to start training for anything from a 5k, 10k, half-marathon to a full marathon.LIVEfrom201http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/LIVEfrom201/Default.aspxI could just kick myself!http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/RASouders/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/RASouders/Archive/2010/3/20/584846.aspx2010-03-20T04:42:00Z2010-03-20T04:42:00ZWent with the family to Costco today....They all wanted their hot dog at the lunch area...So, being a "good girl" I ordered the turkey wrap (thinking that it was lo-cal)....I just went to the Costco nutrition values on the web and found it to have 810 calories with TONS of sodium. I could have enjoyed that hotdog without the roll for 1/2 the calories!!! I'm about done now for the day with my calorie count. Doggone it.RASoudershttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/RASouders/Default.aspx
