Disappointing week
A disappointing week. I only lost 0.5 pounds. My daughter told me that was better than gaining or staying the same. At least I am still losing. She has a point and I haven't strayed yet. It has been harder to stay on track though and for the first time since I started the program I have been hungry. I am thinking it might have something to do with the time of the month. lol I always seem hungrier and feel bloated more. At least that is what I am telling my self. Hope everyone one else is having success and will continue on. It made me feel good that my husband told me this morning that he is proud of me for sticking with it and losing weight. A real boost.

IT IS WAY BETTER THEN A GAIN !!!! always always always remember that... and I struggle the same way !!!! I have not cheated, exercised tons and I figured I would be down at least 10 lbs but to date (and its day 17) I have lost 5.4 lbs. But I'm telling myself its better then gaining and at least I'm losing. My husband is extremely supportive as well and one thing he told me at the start which stuck with me and helps me through the days is... I wouldn't want to do it again... meaning he wouldn't want to put all the hard work into dieting and then have to go through it again just cause he cheated and went off the program. So that helps me... cause I'm looking forward to reaching goal and not having to do it again.

good luck !!!

Are you drinking a minimal of 64 ounces of water each day ? are you weighing (ounces) and measuring ( tsp, tbsp, cups, half cups) your add ins or are you guestimating or perhaps eyeballing the portion sizes ? are you eating all your foods ? are you exercising daily ? Did you take your measurements ? On the weeks that my pounds loss were less than expected I experienced a loss in inches !! Follow the NS Plan exactly as outlined & you will succeed. The whole program nothing but the program ...

I'm working though my second plateau on the system and it's a killer. I'm not sure how close you are to goal, but the closer you get the harder it is to loss. The key is persistence and know that each ounce lost is still moving in the right direction. At this point I have to work REALLY hard for each pound lost. I measure my loss in ounces and it makes me feel better. It all does add up in the end. Still there are things you can do to help break a plateau. Drink even MORE water; kick up the exercise, just a bit. It is more about heart rate than longer walks for instance, change dinner with lunch, and or switch up your veggies. All these can work. Finally if you get really frustrated call a councilor. Good Luck, we will do it together!

I am going through the same thing!! I have followed the program strictly but have been in a plateau for over a week; I think it is that female water retention thing, as it is about time... ;)

Thank you to all those who offered much needed advice after my disappointing week. Each suggestion will be taken to heart and worked on. I see that I need to increase my water intake and really get that exercise up. The exercise is kind of hard when I keep my two grandkids during the day. One is 20 months old and the other is 6 months old. But I will continue to try to squeeze it in. Thanks agian for the support. It really means a lot to know there are others out there that are struggling with the same things I am.
