I would love to be where you are now weight-wise, but I definitely understand what you are saying about neglecting yourself and the lower back problems. I am a single mom to one and forgot I existed, I think, until the back pain and breathing hard when I went short distances reminded me I have a child who needs me long term, not just until he's 18! Congrats on starting the program. I know you will succeed. I did it before in 2005 and did well, but found I let my wt. creep back up on me with a desk job and long hours. I know the excitement you are feeling at getting that food in hand! Here's to your success!!!! I am excited for you. :)

I can hear you on the back pain. I have been pain free after the first couple of weeks on NS and before that I couldn't walk 100 feet without having to stop. Good luck with you journey and I look forward to your blogs.

I am so excited. Someone who sounds like me. I just started on October 25th. I am 33, married with two kids 4 and 7 and from 2000 to now I have gone from 134 to 175. I am 5'2" and just had a back operation on June 1st. I need to loose the weight for my back and because I want to get back into my cute clothes. I look forward to your blog posts!
