I suggest you have a piece of fruit or yogurt.. Maybe your spacing out your meals too far apart.
For excercise you should try the video that came along with your food.. I used it during the winters months and it really worked for me..

Stay Strong

Hi Kris,
WTG on your first week....I find that I'm always satisfied by spacing my meals/add-ins every 1-3 hours apart. I drink a ton of water and get everything in my 9:00/10:00. It will get easier as your body adjusts to the new diet!
Have a great evening,
Angie : )

Drink your Water and talk to a counselor. They can explain about free foods, a dill pickle or a sugar-free Popsicle can hit the spot.

Now, exercise. To tell the truth, I don't either, but I don't mind a slow weight loss. If you want to lose faster, you might want to try walking a little very day. Start with a short walk, even 5 minutes, a day. Then push for 10 minutes and up. Or not. Your decision. But it doesn't have to be strenuous.

I was on the program about 5-1/2 months and lost 41 pounds before I was motivated to do any exercise. Only for the last two weeks have I been walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes three times a week. I feel better and I feel more like doing it these days since I have been eating more healthily. I dread it until I get it done, then I notice how much better I feel and I know the rewards will be great in the future. I believe you will get to where you will want to do something in the exercise mode. If not now, then later. Give yourself some time to adjust to the program and the food. Then think about what you might like to do to get in some movement. You'll come up with something along the way. It's a lifestyle you know. Choose something you will enjoy doing from now on. Add to it either in time or other activities. Just take baby steps in this.

Hope that helps,
Linda

I have been on NS for 3 weeks now. I find that I have some days that I feel very hungry and others where I don't think I could eat all the food. I have found that sticking to eating at very specific times everyday has helped my body to adjust and realize that I will not let it starve. I also drink Crystal Lite Liv Active. It has some extra fibre in it. The sweet taste of the drink and the fibre helps to satisfy me. Read yesterday's daily dose about hunger. it is so true and an excellent reminder. Good Luck to you. Don't cave!

Welcome .. you are embarking on a journey that will change your life forever. You are definitely in the right place. I tried Adtkins, South Beach , LA Weight Loss, Weight Watchers & I 'm sold out on NS... here are a few tips to help you along the way. … In the beginning I actually chose the entrees that were heavier. I chose add in / grocery items like cherry tomatoes, apples, oranges, fresh pineapple . String cheese , eggs. Go for the bulk especially the first week. These foods “ stick to your ribs” The white sauces and some of the chicken entrees need a little help. I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray has become my new best friend ! McCormick Vegetable Supreme, McCormick Red pepper & roasted garlic seasoning, McCormck basil & garlic. Sautéing the vegetables, baking the vegetables. Saute cabbage with the McCormick red pepper is really yummy The water is critical. Design a plan that works best for you with a 8 glass minimum, more is better. Never go more than four hours between meals. DO NOT MICROWAVE the scrambled eggs, and the cup noodle entrees must to be cooked on stovetop or pour boiling water & cover tightly for 15 minutes or other wise crunchy.. Warm the breakfast pastries in the microwave. I spritz a bit of I cant’ believe it’s not butter on the pastry & warm for a few seconds. The pastries are really yummy prepared this way. I keep baked fresh mushrooms on hand at all times. I give the pizzas a helping hand by spraying a small baking dish with nonstick butter spray then placing diced green onion, diced green , orange & yellow sweet peppers, 5 black olives sliced, 1 oz FF ham diced ( afternoon protein serving ) & fresh baked mushrooms baking until veggies tender. Bake pizza for 2.5 minutes before topping with veggie mix then return to oven & bake for remaining 2.5 minutes. Pizza is one of my favorites. I use the on line meal planner to stay accountable. NS is the best decision ever & I’m lovin’ it. Keep reading the blogs, always good information there … I began the program Jan 22 & have lost 34 pounds & the best part is the 8.5 inches gone from my waist line… & the 8 inches lost from my hips ! the only difference between me & you is time… stay 100% 24/7 , you will be glad you did !
