a little concerned.....
happy Sunday to all!! I am a little concerned about what will happen after NS. Once we start eating "regular" food again I am really afraid that the pounds will slowly come creeping back. I know that NS has given us the tools: ie portion control, balanced meal etc. With my weekends off, I find myself eating a little better than I used to, but I am getting bored with my food selections. Time to start reading the NS cookbook and getting some different ideas....I have also been cooking better for my husband in the past couple of weeks and he has lost more weight than me!!! hahahaha

I understand although I'm far from being off NS yet. Where did you get the NS cookbook from?

Take care!

Don't worry about getting off the NS food. The great thing about being on NS is learning portion control. You can continue that on your own. I lost 90 lbs. on NS over 4 years ago (took 9 months) and then I decided I needed to brave the "real world" and learn to eat on my own. The portion control and food choices I learned while on NS helped me to continue those in "real life" and I went on to lose another 60 pounds over the next year.
You can sustain your success and even add to it!
I didn't know there was an NS cookbook...I'll have to look into that too! Thanks for the tip!

I purchased the cookbook a few months ago...$10 I think. I just went on the Flex program this month and they included (for another $10)a cookbook in it as well. It isn't a bad cookbook. It includes recipes for 1-2 people and for the family so it's very reasonable. I also have the South Beach Diet cookbook which has similar recipes but much more variety. My husband and I did that diet several years ago but just didn't stick with it. I think the lack of exercise was my downfall on that one! I'll try to post as I go through this transition to maintenance. dj
