I am usually pretty strict to only weigh myself once a week.  But I weighed myself today instead of waiting until Weds, when I knew I would be enjoying PMS.

To my joy I was down another pound!!!!!

Oh another thing...when I got my last order I got my 1st Bear - HOW FUN!!!  He is proudly displayed on my wall unit right smack in the livingroom for all to see.

THANK YOU NS!!!

=^..^=

08/22/07 = 193

10/22/07 = 179

I am on Day 61!  I have so many things to be greatful for - THANK YOU NS!!!  I came in at 193 - I'm at 180 now!

My only regret is that I wish I would have measured myself.  But my clothes are the perfect reminder.  All the jeans that I could not button 61 days ago - are NOW BAGGY!  I'm fitting into the nice SLIM clothes I purchased when I lost weight before I got married (May 2006).

I have to say when I started this program on 8/22/07 I wasn't sure I would last.  When I received the food the portions seemed SO SMALL!  But not learning to eat the right portion and "grazing" all day has really helped.

Also I have to say it's been rather stressfull Sept/Oct my youngest is in his senior year at HS.  Between varsity football games, college apps, SAT/ACT exams...now the play-offs around the corner - THANK GOD FOR NS!

I do my best to keep the refrig stocked with all the add-in's.  Sticking to this program has been wonderful and a blessing.

I'm working to get my last 10 lbs off before Thanksgiving - then I will work on my strech goal of 10 lbs more.

I am also greatful for the support my NS friends give!

=^..^=

PS Treating myself to some news clothes very soon!

All right it took me about nearly 7 weeks to do it - but I have at last lost 12.5 lbs!  I have 10.5 to go to hit my first goal.  Then I will work on my stretch goal of 10 lbs more!

I have to be totally honest, I have done little to no exercise.  So if I wanted to lose more weight quicker - I could have.  Exercise continues to be a problem!  Due to work, my son's football program, fund-raising, blah - blah - blah.  I just don't feel like going for a walk or going to the gym.

On a positive note, as I lose this weight I have much more energy!  I have made a commitment to eating better - by taking NS serious - now I need to take the next step - EXERCISE!!!

Started on 8/22/07 @ 193, as of today 10/10/07 I'm @ 180.5!

Thanks to all my NS friends for sticking by me, the slow-snail weight loss gal!

=^..^=

PS Mentor HS is now 5-2, we have 2 more reg season games...then onto the Play-offs!

I have been non-stop since end of August with HS football, looking for a new job, researching colleges, etc etc etc.

But today is 9/26/07 - my Day 36 - I have lost 10 lbs!  I have 13 more to go for my 1st goal.  Then I will work for my stretch goal of a total of 33 lbs.

I am so grateful to be able to eat basically all day and evening!  I love to graze - now I am doing it the RIGHT WAY!!!

Got to work on my exercise - still my downfall - but I'm getting there.

Love to all!

It seems like forever since I posted or even got on this site!  As Day 19 comes to a close I thought I list some postive's!

  • Thank NS for your little check list booklet & online tracking.  Sometimes I use both, other times 1 or the other.
  • Thank NS for the easy grab and go food - makes meal planning easy!  Just a little thought B4 grocery shopping and the add-in's are all there in the frig!
  • Re-educating my eating habits - learning again - that you don't need TONS OF FOOD to be satisfied.  Making sure I hit the Dairy/Protien...seems to stave off my carb addiction!
  • Hitting all the required food - sometimes creativity is in order - but it sure helps the "binging" go away.
  • Thank you to all my NS friends - I promise to do some posting and catching up this week!
  • Thank you to my family & friends that have all been super supportive & positive!

Well that's all for now.  Football update, Mentor HS is now 2-1.  We shutout Solon 27 to 0!  My youngest is playing GREAT!

As the ladies can relate - weigh in time is scary enough - but when Aunt Flo is visiting....  Let's just say I really didn't want to weigh in today!  But I determined Weds is weigh in day - so I made myself stick with it.

So with much dread/fear I stepped on the scale this morning - fully expecting to have either gained or not lost any.  Lo and behold I lost 2 lbs!!!  Now why does this excite me???  Because I am normally 3-5 lbs heavier when Aunt Flo is in town.

Now I am really excited to weigh in next Weds!   I will have to work for it - Thursday & Friday we are going to Casino Windsor to celebrate my B-day.  When I get back I will definately concentrate on exercise (my problem area).

Here is how it looks so far:

STARTED 8/22/07 @ 193

8/29/07 = 188

9/5/07 = 186

MY GOAL FOR 9/12/07 IS 180!!!

=^..^=

It seems like forever since I blogged last.  Well the long holiday weekend went pretty well.  Rather than focus what I did "outside" the plan - I have thought about how much "improved" my eating habits are becoming.

Let me share what I did & what I would have done 14 days ago.

Friday:

No snacks during the football game (although I did bring baby carrots).  After our win (44-28) against Strongsville, I had 1 Corona Light as we sat around my firepit celebrating.  I drank it slowly and enjoyed it!

Prior to NS - that would have been 2 -3 beers and during the game sugary snacks like M&M's etc.

Saturday:

At the county fair - 1 batter/fried cheese stick & diet soda.

Prior to NS - that would have been; in addition to the Cheese Stick, an Elephant Ear and on and on and on.....

Sunday:

Cleveland Indians game, 1 Corona Light and a few hand-fulls of peanuts.

Prior to NS - 2 - 3 beers and peanuts and nachos and......

Monday:

At the family picnic/b-day party - lots of veggies & small amount of chili on top of my salad.  3 bites of my b-day cake.  Diet soda -  NO BEER OR WINE!

Prior to NS -  2 or 3 beers or glasses of wine.  NON-STOP EATING, BEFORE -DURING AND AFTER THE MEAL!

In closing, I'm sorry I haven't been in touch with my NS buddy's I will catch up soon!  Love to all! =^..^=

Well this is Day 10, doing well!  I seem to struggle the last few evenings (due to my PMS) but I am dealing with it.  Last night 5 strawberrys did the trick - the night before 1/2 cup of Choc Reddi whip did the trick :)  ahhhh little cheat is better than a big bowl of ice cream with all the toppings!

My schedule:

Tonight/Friday - home football game = danger munchie food & beer after the game.  Answer:  eat lots of NS foods prior to game, bring baby carrots for munching!

Saturday - County Fair = danger batter coated, fried cheese on a stick  Answer:  Again I find if I go full - it helps!  If I HAVE TO HAVE IT, I will buy 1, take a bite and give the rest to my skinny-minny husband.  BUT I WILL TRY TO BE STRONG!

Sunday - Cleveland Indians Game = danger beer and peanuts.  Answer:  again go full!  If I must have beer - it will only be 1 LIGHT BEER.  Peanuts I guess I can eat a few (as my fat for the day).

Monday - Labor Day/B-day Party = danger food galore & B-day cake.  Answer: bring my NS Chili and making a big Salad to share.  The cake...it is my b-day (actually on 9/7) I will see...  If I must it will only be a few bites.

In summary, the lesson is all things in moderation.  I have been sooo good for the past 10 days (no beer or wine) I want to continue until I see a major loss.  Also, I will be doing lots of walking!

Everyone have a safe and fun-filled weekend!

=^..^=

I started Weds 8/22/07 @ 193

Today Weds 8/29/07 = 188!

So Weds will continue to be my weigh in day, once a week is scary enough.

=^..^=

First of all I really enjoyed today's CLICK, I like getting that daily positive boost!  It get's you starting to think about summer of 2008.  I will be hosting a large graduation party next summer for my youngest!  Funny thing when my weight is down, people take me for much younger.  When I have been out running errands with my youngest son, (and the weight is down) people think I am his sister or girlfriend.

Well with the weight up - I look my age.  Don't get me wrong - I'm not trying to look like a young thing - but it is nice to be taken for a much younger age.

Talking about weight - I have been scared to death to get on the scale.  I started a week ago  (Weds 8/22/07).  So tomorrow AM I am stepping on the dreaded scale.  I am hoping for 3-5 lbs loss - tune in tomorrow for more news!

Exercise!  I just started on Sunday and Monday walking.  I have had some "issues" with my right foot.  Since I have been wearing an elastic ankle support, it seems to be improving.  I have been walking my dear old dog (I need to add her pic to my page) and she loves it.

We walk about 20 - 30 minutes, not real fast - but we are walking!

I will get to where I want to be - it may take awhile - BUT I CAN DO IT!

First of all I am proud to say that I am proud of me!

Last night's football bus trip was filled with folks sharing food (pizza, chicken, wraps, brownie's, you know what I mean!).  We left at 4:30 pm sooooo... I had my NS dinner at lunch and to take on the bus trip I made the Mixed Berry Yorgurt drink.  I made the drink with fat free milk instead of water (to hit my dairy/protien) and tons of ice!  So that was my dinner on the bus.  I also took baby carrots (2 veggie servings) and some low-fat ranch (my fat).  So while everyone was chowing, I was sipping on my drink & munching my carrots!  I also had my Mint Choc Bar - YUM!

I am so proud!  Another tip to share - my calorie count was really high for my first 2 days - contacted the online counselor - the mini yorgurts were the culprit!  They list on the online tracking as OVER 200+ CALORIES!  When in reality - the ones I was eating was 1/2 the amount.  Double check your packages to properly list your calories!!!

In the end I ate tons of food yesterday and had the lowest calorie count to date!

PS  Today went great!  I love to eat a fresh tomatoe cut up as my veggie.  Also low-fat string cheese is a great - portable dairy/protien!  Veggie burgers make a FILLING dairy/protien.

Thanks to all of you who have given your wonderful support!!!
