I hit my goal today and it was a very emotional experience. To think that on 9/1 I was 203 lbs and today I'm now 160lbs. No more feeling uncomfortable or being frustrated because none of your clothes fit. I cannot express in words the sense of accomplishment and pride I have for seeing this thru. Thanks to all of you for your kind words because reading the blogs made me feel that there were others that could relate to this battle.

I went from a size 16 to a size 8 and more importantly - (ladies) from a 40 DD to a 36D - OK...lol OH and I must say the BACKFAT is GONE!

I'm now considering setting a new goal of 150.  I always wanted to be 150 lbs but didn't think it was realistic. I guess I had fear of being a failure.

I will post new pictures soon and hopefully they will motivate you to continue your journey.

Till next time God Bless and Keep Losing!

Down 40 lbs!!!!!!!! However this has been my most challenging month.  It took from 12/4 until today to drop 5 lbs.  I know I'm to blame considering the holiday cooking and baking - oh yes and all the food tasting.  Overall I am so pleased and hope this message will motivate others to continue with the program.

Next Steps - I'm going to change my goal from 160 to 150. I always wanted to be 150 just never thought it was achievable - But Now I DO!

As of September 1, I'm down 35 pounds. More importantly, I'm feeling great and have a new attitude. My clothes size has changed from 16 to 10.  I'm getting compliments from    co-workers that have never said anything in 25 years. So if you feeling like quitting NS, think again because it does work. Oh and by the way, I haven't even started exercising yet - so imagine the possibilities...............

Ok - perhaps I didn't but notice before but are the sloopy joes, turkey hot dog and the buffalo chicken wrap new items?  Please let me know if anyone has tried them and your opinion. ?Thanks

I can't remember the last time I was so excited about getting on the scale. Question - Do you too get on the scale once then again (ok maybe 3 times) to make sure you are seeing right?  I'm down 30 pounds since 9/1.  My goal was to loose 40 pounds by Christmas.  I'm hoping Christmas will come early.  Dear Santa , all I want for Christmas is 4 NS bear under the tree. Till next time God Bless and Keep Losing

The kids were off on Wednesday so I decided to take the day off from work.  One rule that we have since I started NS is that my husband cooks the bacon.  Well my husband had to go to work and of co*** my 6 year old son wanted bacon. As I'm preparing the bacon, I'm literally talking to myself (don't do it). I was really doing good until there was one piece cooked to perfection that appeared to have my name on it. Ok - you know what happen - I ate it - only one piece. I got on the scale the next day and was pleased I had not gained weight. So I thought the worst was behind me and I was back on track.  OMG - was I wrong! No weight gain but the cravings were out of control.! I felt like my body was going through some type of withdraw. All I could think of was food.  If I passed Mcdonald's - it seem like the fries were calling me, pizza hut - pizza, applebees - bourbon steak...etc...

The good news is my third shipment arrived yesterday.  You would of thought I hit the lottery because I was so happy to have my favorites. The cravings are getting better but I learned my lesson.  NO MORE BACON!

Down 25 lbs since 9/1. So........Happy!  In addition, I'm down 2 lbs since I completed the 5 mile "Walk for Autism" on Saturday. This was the only time I have exercised since being on NS. Take a look at today's daily dose - changing routines and food patterns can shake up things. My goal for the month is to take a walk twice a week for first two weeks, then increase to three walks a week for the remaining of the month . Till next time God Bless and Keep Losing!

Great news I'm down another pound! I started NS on 9/1 and have lost 23 pounds so far. Unfortunatley, I still haven't started excercising but plan to change that starting Saturday.  I'm participating in a 5 mile "Walk for Autism" in Washington DC on Saturday.  This is of  great importance to me since my 3 year old has autism.   I plan on pushing my son Bryce in a stroller the whole 5 miles. As you go about your day on Saturday, I would appreciate if you could take a moment and say a pray for Bryce and other children that suffer form this disease. The power of prayer can bring about great change. Have a blessed day and keep losing.

Great news! I have now lost 20 lbs since 9/1.  I teamed up with another NS partner and our goal was to lose a total of 22 lbs by 11/1.  Try it - fun competiton will keep you on track. Okay Maryann caught me if you can.
Ok- I'm on vacation this week and motivated and determined to have the scale go down! Much of my weight gain has been due to comforting myself with food with life's disappointments come into play. I have 3 children - ages 22, 6 and 3. My youngest was diagnosed with autism about a 18 months ago. I felt defeated as a mother and therefore found comfort in food. I later realized that this battle was not mine alone and learned how to turn it over to God.  I learned that my misfortunate is someone else's desires. Afterall, I still had son. Today, Bryce is as active and emotionally attached as all 3 year olds.  He still has challenges with speech but last month he said mom-mom for the first time. I started NS on 9/1 and have lost 19lbs. My goal is to be down 22lbs by 10/1. I can do this!

Day 45 - started Sept 1.  I have lost 19lbs.  Started at size 16 then 14 and now I can fit some size 12. I met a new NS friend today who also started on Sept 1. She has lost 18 lbs so we are both doing good.  Our goal is to lose 22 by the end of the month. I think we will make it. Feeling good today!
