The program seems to be getting easier for me. I thought I would get sick of it by now and go off track but I am so determined to reach my goal. A coworker of mine and I were talking about the 20 lbs we have lost and gained back over the course of our lives. Honestly, I'm sick of it. It gets harder to lose it the older I get and damn it, I want to feel and look great. Over the last few weeks I have only lost 1 lb a week or a max of 2 lbs. I guess thats okay as long as I am still losing. Just hard to believe that I would only lose 5 lbs with one box of food (on auto-delivery). I really want to lose 10 lbs with this box. Trying to step it up with exercise but always find that challenging. I wish the weather would get better. I find myself much more active when the weather is nice. I'm ready for spring.

So I just hate to exercise, especially at night after a long day at work. I commute 2 hours every day so I leave about 6 am every morning and sometimes don't get home until 7. So needless to say, not feeling too much like exercising. Well....I've been forcing myself to do it because I need to in order to continue to drop the weight and keep it off. I recently purchased a video called the 30 day Shred with Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. I really like it because it is an intense 20 minutes and it makes me sweat and ache all over which tells me its working. So for about 10 days straight I did the video. Unfortunately it's not a 10 day shred. So I slacked off for 3 days because of really long days at work. So here's the funny part. Today I was at work in my office and had a burst of energy. I thought about all of the exercises on the video and wished I had it with me. I had an hour between meetings so I took the first 30 min of my lunch break and wrote down a routine that I could do right in my office. I quickly closed all of the blinds(my office has a lot of big windows), locked the door, and took off my boots. There I stood in the middle of my office doing jumping jacks, jumping rope, running in place, and doing butt kicks. Next I got down on the carpet and did my crunches, reverse crunches, bicycle crunches and fly lifts with two large water bottles. Next...lunges and squat boxing. I was completely out of breath when the phone rang 25 minutes later. I had to cover the phone when the other person was talking so she didn't hear me breathing heavy. How embarrassing. I should have let it go to voicemail. I felt so good though for the rest of the day. A little sweaty at first but that passed. I think I might bring my hand weights and a tshirt to work tomorrow so I can be more prepared. Sure beats exercising at 8 pm at night after a 12 hour day at work. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!!!!

I'm bummed today. I weighed in this morning and the scale did not even move an ounce since last week. Its thats time of the month but I was sure with all of the exercise that I would loose at least a pound. I know the drill....plateaus, etc. Just wanted to write down that I was bummed so I stayed on track. I'm so close to 20 lbs that I can taste it!!!!

I just had to figure out a way to make exercise fun. I get bored so easily. Several friends have a Wii and really have fun with it. Since I got some money from my mom for Christmas I decided to buy a Wii today. I was going to save it for some new clothes but I cleaned my closet out today and discovered I have three different sizes. I was able to get rid of one size and I now have several more outfits to pick from because I'm down to the next size. Needless to say....don't really need new clothes right now so Wii Fit it was. Spent over an hour trying out all of the exercises. So fun. Man my kids are good at it. I'm going to have to keep practicing so I can woop their butts!!!

Merry Christmas to all of my NS buddies. Today marks my official completion of 6 weeks on NS. I weighed in this morning and was very pleased to see a 2 lb loss for the week which brings me to 15 lbs total. Not bad! Now lets see if I can get through the next 2 days without really blowin it. I'm pretty sure I can. We all know how that 2lbs can jump right back on. I am having 20 family members over tonight for Christmas Eve. Lots of kids and fun. I love Christmas. I love how it brings families together and warms my heart.
I wish all of you a wonderful day and heres to continued weight loss for all, and a happy and healthy New Year.

Today was weigh in day. 13 lbs down! Yippee. My goal over the next two weeks is just to make it through the holidays without stressing too much if I don't stick to 100% NS. I'm trying to avoid tempation. I came home last night late after work to find my kitchen in a shambles due to baking and fudge making by my 14 year old. AHHH! what a mess. Thank goodness it isn't the sugar that makes me go off track. Its really the crunchy salty stuff. Have a good weekend everyone.

Well.....I was bad today. My husband and I went out for Indian food. My first real off-track day. Honestly, not sure I really care because the food was sooooo Good! Wasn't really hungry for dinner so overall shouldn't have caused much damage. Back to NS tomorrow. Have a good weekend everyone

Winter has definitely settled on Northern California. Its been in the 20's every night this week. I hate being cold. I have to get up early every morning because I have a hour commute to Roseville. The walk from the parking garage to the hospital is burrrrrr!!! My latest excuse to not exercise is that it's too cold. I set some goals for exercise this week. I have to get this butt movin! I'm so excited about my 11.5 weightloss since starting and I really want to this pace so I guess I better stop with the excuses. Trying to be 100% compliant with NS until Christmas Eve. Lots of family for Christmas Eve coming over and I really want to have a glass of wine. I really really miss my occasional glass of red wine. Mmmmm...Zinfandel.

Its been quite the week at work. Really glad to be home, in my comfy clothes, resting up for the weekend. Next week only two days of work before I get the rest off for the holiday. My sister has been in China for the last 22 days and she is coming home with a new baby girl. We are all so excited and plan on hitting the road for Phoenix to meet her. This will be a thanksgiving to remember and one to be thankful for many blessings including good health, family, friends and all of the love in my life. Hope all of you have a wonderful week!
