Water, water, water

Goodmorning NS peeps. Weigh in day was actually yesterday for me but when I stepped on the scale I had a gain of 2 lbs, no way. And then it hit me the all important water intake that did not happen the day before. So yesterday I took extra care in getting all my water in and low and behold I had a 1.8 lb loss since last Monday. Goes to show me that I need to be sure I get my 8 glasses of water in per day.

Since I am on the water subject. While I was running yesterday I was looking at my hands and flexing my fingers thinking of the past times before NS how I would go for a walk and my hands would get really swollen. And it came to me. WATER. Taking in the water means you don't have water retention because you are hydrated. DUH I could slap myself in the forehead.

I have been feeling great, but this is getting harder. It has gotten to a point where it is not just eating less and better it is exercising more. I am trying to hang in there. I have to remember my goals and that I am in it to win it. Keep on keeping on right.

Hope everyone has a great Tueday. Take care.

Keep on keeping on.

Well, if it's getting a little harder, let's see if I can give you a little inspiration. See, I've been MIA for about a month, and I was used to seeing you in your scrubs pic from before, so I didn't recognize you until I peeked at your page. You stick with it, cuz lemme tell ya, you look not only slimmer, but younger and more feminine.....awesome!!

This is so true. And also, if you happen to eat off the plan by going out to eat, I notice that no matter how careful I am with what I eat, I tend to have a "gain" of a lb or 2 on the scale. I guess it is the sodium that is in the foods. I always make sure that when I do go out to eat, to drink even more water that usual.

Thank you! I was beginning to get so discouraged when reading how so many people lost between 2 - 5 pounds their first week! I've been trying to figure out why, after my first 2 weeks of careful following of the NS plan, I have not lost one pound! Water is the one thing I was not careful about...and I've been so bummed about that! This may be the perfect answer to my challenges.
