Tomorrow is a new day

Hello NS friends. I made a promise to get back into the swing of things so here I am. I was very bad and very good today. I ran my usually 3 miles. I felt great doing it too. I had a NS breakfast, but I did not have a NS lunch. My Mother is living with me and she is killing me with her food. Slowly but surely she is killing me. She is cooking all my favorites, not by my request, and I can't help but to eat it. All though I will say I still have control over my portion size. But I need to get back into NS foods because I have been stuck at 190 for way too long. I want my scale to read less then 190. Tomorrow is a new day right!!

I hope everyone is having the best week ever. Keep on keeping on!!

My mother is also living with me and everynight she cooks dinner before I get home from work. I refuse to eat any more of her potatoes and pasta which she insists is good for you. Guess it stems back to when she was feeding and whole crew of kids and potatoes and pasta went a long way. She gets a little insulted, but I just keep telling her I'm on a diet. She's 83 and getting a little senile, so she forgets from day to day and I just keep reminding her. What encourages me is when I step on the scale and see that another pound was lost. Don't forget to drink lots of water - that helps shed all the water weight.
