thanks all for the suggestions on the fruit, I absolutely love summer fruits so it's so dissapointing when they are gone..never even considered frosen fruits...thanks everyone!

It seems like such a long time ago I posted my first blog, guess it was back in July! I am down almost 15lbs, seems like it should be coming off faster. I have to say I am lacking in the water and fruit dept...just don't have great fruits this time of year in Ohio.
I have had several people notice the weight loss and can't tell you what a confidence booster that is! Have a good day all-just thought a little note would keep me on task with they system today!

I accidentally left my NS home page up on the laptop the other day, and my husband saw my weight for the first time. Funny, how can I share my weight with all of you, but become mortified when my best friend and supporter finds out a secret that I have been hiding for years. Although, he said the number on that page means nothing to him, I find myself embarrased to even admit it to him???? Okay, okay, I know he knows I am not thin, but justifying it with a number made me feel so very vulnerable.
So, with that said, 3 lbs lost..I am going to give this my best try so I can be honest again with everyone!

So, thanks to everyone who has answered my questions so far, this blog is so informative and enlightening!
I have a few more questions lingering...Are we supposed to eat our meals at certain times or give a certain time inbetween? I work 12-15 hour days and sometimes eat dinner @ 9:00 pm...now I know this is not healthy, but, there is no way around it, you see I am a nurse and just cannot leave my floor for a food break..this is a growing problem among medical workers.
Question #2-Do we have to eat the prescribed foods at every meal or can I for an example use my dinnertime fat at lunch instead, or my breakfast fruit as an am snack? Are we to stick to the suggestions or can they be broken up throughout the day?
Sorry for all these questions but still new to the program and would like to get the best possible results by doing things right. Thanks :)

I saw a recipie which included one free food?? What is this? I have just started the program and haven't read anything about "free food". Can anyone help? Thanks!

Okay, day one down with exercise...did the Leslie Sansone video which came with the food...to my surprise, was much more entertaining than my old treadmill. Got through the 2 mile AND the firming piece although not sure I was doing them just as she was. Whatever the case, I am determined to make this work...I am done trying on 14 different outfits, trying to find the one that doesn't make me look fat. Obsurd...I have made myself this big and I can reverse the process with hard work.

So today is day 1 of the Nutrisystem program, feeling full from breakfast and now off to exercise...really!
I loathe exercising...I usually force myself to do the treadmill for at least 1/2 hour or 2-3 miles...it kills me! You would think after doing it for a while it would get easier! Please tell me there is someone out there who agrees. Team sports are the best, (softball, volleyball), but you don't burn very many calories running to first base.
Problem is, my metabolism has slowed in my 40's and I know I have to step it up a notch in the exercise area...Dreading this!
