Racing fuel and micro-brews

Over the weekend, I was in Indianapolis for the Monster Energy drink Supercross races. My good friend and I left late Friday night and got into Indy at 1 am. The races were so much fun. I had never been to an indoor race like that before. We had really good seats and could see the action all across the floor. It was a weekend void of any healthy lifestyle and definitely not ideal conditions for losing weight.

I did fairly well with my food choices, I even exercised the 2 days at the hotel. It was a great time of year to get out and do something a little different. I get really bad cabin fever and this was just the thing to help with it.

Great job to all of you participating in the LC! We are going to hit our marks and I wish everyone the best of luck this week. I know this week will be fairly intense for me getting my new workout routine in place and sticking to NS 100%. I average about a 95% adhesion rate to NS, but after this past weekend, I need to dial it back up to 100% if I want to see a loss for the next 2 weeks.

That does sound like fun and I know what you mean by cabin fever however ... I don't mind so much in the winter and a little indoor hibernation is okay with me.  Spring and Summer I will be so busy and outdoors all the time ... I will miss just being home.  Nonetheless, it is great to get re-energized.

I plan to lose some pounds this week if I have to work out three times a day for a few of them.  Ha!  Wish me luck! :)

Sounds like a great way to cure cabin fever!  We have had it here, too and the weather yesterday and today is helping tremendously.  We had all of our kids over yesterday to celebrate my hubby's 65th birthday and had a great time.

I know it helped me to feel re-energized.

Hugs,
Cheryl

HEY ROC, GLAD YOU HAD A FUN WEEKEND.  THEY ARE ALWAYS NICE AND USUALLY NEEDED.

JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, YOU ARRIVED AT MY HOUSE TODAY.  I GOT MY LITTLE PURPLE BEAR AND NAMED HIM ROC.  YOU ARE SITTING UP ON THE SHELF WITH CHERI KEEPING AN EYE ON ME.  GOD KNOWS, SOMEBODY NEEDS TO.  HOPEFULLY, I SHOULD GET MY NEXT ONE IN MY NEXT ORDER.  IF I BEHAVE MYSELF I WILL.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
