I have been having a problem going to a gym. I have started
going once a week now and I have added hopping on the treadmill
for as long as I can. I start off with a jog, then a run like I am
being chased by a pack of wild dogs!! I do this every morning, it started off as a 3min run now I am up to a 10min run after only 3 days. I am very happy because I feel as if I am getting some
exercise in my life.
I joined a gym a week ago and only went once. I feel like I just
wasted my money. My husband been way more often then me
and he already stands 6'1 160lbs. So what is he trying to prove?
I need some motivation! the gym is open from 5:30am to 11:00pm
7 days a week, so I have no excuses. I am up this morning to get myself in gear. we went and brought matching gym bags and everything. I got new gym shoes and work-out clothes and the gym isn't very far. I just don't know what to do.
I am not talking to the occasional drinker, I am refering to the can't stop with just one drinker! That is me and I believe that that is why I have failed at the other programs. I found myself having a few drinks and the next thing I know I am try to lose pounds that I put on because of it. Drinking does not mix with this program for me. Just a word to the wise, don't be like me. I lost the pounds and now I am back on track, I've learned my lesson.
I tried the orange chicken with veg. and rice is horrible!! Maybe I don't like the orange flavor or the sauce. It was more sauce then rice or veg. I wont be ordering that any more. I do like the veg. fajitas and the hamburgers and chicken breast. There are so many foods to choose from and I liked so many of them and those are the ones that I re-order. Does anyone have any foods that they like or dis-like?
I will get my next shipment in 7 to 10 days from now. What do I do with the left over food do I start doubling up or let it linger. I don't know what to do?
Well guys I lost only 1.2 lbs on my first week and now I just lost 6.5 more. I am very happy and I see the difference. I put on my size 18 pants and they fit like a glove but I got them on and ZIPPED! How about those cookies.I am down a total of 7.7 lbs.
I had a few beers and some home cooking for my B-day party yesterday. I started the day with NS and by the evening I was off the plan. Today is a new day and I am back in full force. I plan to work out tomorrow to help out with my failer. any suggestions.
What a time to start a program! I call the counselor and she was very helpful she told me to eat my food on the plan as normal then when it is time to eat Thanksgiving Dinner just fix one plate and watch my portion control. I like that idea and so far and it seems to be working. I don't have to save my appetite and bash all I could like I did in the past, I hope everyone is doing great on their program.

I work 3rd 12hr shifts and my box came yesterday. I had to pack my lunch and dinner and snack. I have to really bunker down and time everything so that I do it right. I'm use to just eating snacks all night one real meal before I go to work and nothing until I wake up. I hope someone has some good advice I'll read my blogs when I get off in the morning.
I told my husband that I didn't want to go to his mothers house for the holiday. I just did not want to be bothered or tempted I don't know what I will eat but I know I want to cook, I just don't know. Someone help!
I have been on my job since Oct. 4th and at first my uniform was tight and I could barely bend down to pick up something off the floor. My job doesn't require much physical work but I make it as physical as possible. I am working 12hr. shifts and I am walking non- stop. Being a correctional officer my presence is a deterrence, so being new to the game I am walking and looking all the time. The offenders can't stand it that I walk around so much. they tell me to sit down, you working to hard, and you shouldn't take the job so seriously. I don't care at all what they think it makes me a better officer and I've lost 5-lbs because of it and the uniform fits better and I can bend down and pick something off the floor without straining.
