If anyone can answer
I am new to this diet. I am waiting for my shipment to arrive and will start after thanks giving. I was just wondering, how quickly did people start seeing results, and how much did anyone whom read's this lose in the first month? -Morgan

I lost about 11 lbs on my 1st month but I read some people lost more than that! I started seeing results in less than a week when I couldn't help but weigh myself everyday. Now, I only step on the scale every Friday.

For me, the biggest change that I noticed is that I'm happier, coz finally I see results and it's not even a hard diet to follow.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!!

I also am one that weighs daily...even though I shouldn't! lol I saw results after day 1! I lost 10 pounds in my first month and then another 10 pounds in my second month and that's where I'm at now. Tomorrow will be the mark of my 2nd month on this program. My goal was to lose 10 pounds a month and it's actually really easy to do that. I've actually cheated a few times and even gained a little bit back at one point and I'm still down 20 pounds. If you stick to the program 100% you can be down more than me no problem!! It's a great program! You can do it!! :O)

I lost 10 lbs. in the first month and averaged 10 lbs. most months. I reached my goal of 50 lbs. in 5.5 months. Good luck to you. You will start to see the scale move within the first two weeks when you follow the NS plan. Have a great week. Marie

Your starting weight plays a part in determining how quickly you loose. I started off at 264 and the 1st month I lost 1/2 lb a day, beginning that very 1st day. The 2nd month I averaged 1/3 to 1/2 lb a day. That weight loss was with out exercising. Don't know how much extra I would have lost if I'd exercised.

I have not been 100% on plan the past couple of months so my weight loss has slowed way down.

I am one of the slower losers. I started on my 2nd round of NS in July and lost 4 or 5 pounds the first month. Things actually got faster for me the longer I stayed on. I lost 20 pounds in 3 months. Now I am on maintenance...just doing NS part time and regular food also. I have lost 5 more pounds in a month just sticking to the small healthy meal plan and exercising. It really works.

Hi welcome to the program...I started out at 192 and by the time my second box came I weighed 180 currently I weigh 176 and that is with taking about 6 days off throughout these past 2 months because of special events. I walk on a treadmill 30 minutes almost everyday. so all together 16 lbs in 8 1/2 weeks most likely i will lose 10 lbs this month as well. I LOVE THE PROGRAM IT IS EASY TO FOLLOW AND TEACHES ME THE CORRECT WAY TO EAT

Your first month is what I call the Honeymoon Phase of NS. You will loose weight very fast if you do the following: eat all your food that NS allows you to eat (vegies especially), drink 1/2 of your weight in water (this is not NS but just some veterans advice), and exercise to where you SWEAT!!! After the first couple of weeks, the weight loss slows down so take advantage of the first couple of weeks where you can really loose more.

Your next question....probably, how often to weigh? As often as YOU think you should. When I am losing, I weigh every day because it motivates me to stay on program and keep working hard. BUT if I am plateauting, I don't weigh as often becaue it discourages me. Use the same scale, weigh in a.m. after you pee and poo (if possible), and weigh naked. Buy a good scale now...so later you don't have to do any readjusting or panic because it shows you are 5 lbs. heavier....

Good luck! It's a faboulous journey!!!

I just had my one month weigh in this morning- down 10.5 lbs. I exercise about 30-40 minutes on the treadmill about 4 days a week. Don't weigh in more than once a week-I weighed in 2 days ago (stupid me)and it showed I had gained back 2 lbs--which I had not! Hoping to lose another 10 lbs for month 2! Best of luck to you! I have been struggling to get this weight off for about 10 years. If I can do it, so can anyone! I love NS!
