I feel great, cept the few tummy issues with being back on NS entirely. I really really wish my body would adjust. Its not bad if I am in the lab alone..but I have a lot of meetings/classes in a day.

I am hoping to get a walk in tonight...it is so so gorgeous outside. Also have some yard work.

After the suggestion of a pedometer was made last week, I am picking one up tonight. I had one a while back, but I broke it.

I am trying the mexican tortilla soup for lunch today...I hope it is good.

Well did not manage to get the bike together yet. Nor did I manage to take a day off. I worked Saturday in the lab 12 hours and then I did 8 on Sunday. I am taking off early today to grab groceries and get organized for the week.

Wishing everyone a great week.

I used to avoid stairs, because  at  over 400 pounds they were difficult. At 370 they still are difficult but I have decided on a general rule if I am need to go down I take the stairs no matter how many flights, if I need to go up, I will take the stairs if it is 1 flight up, otherwise I will take the elevator. I have been doing this for a week now, its starting to become automatic...head for the stairs instead of the elevator.

Today is going well so far, I still need to upack my new box of food, I have yet to come up with a good storage solution for the food, I currently keep it on a book case in the dining room, but stuff slides off once in a while, occasionally the cat knocks it off. I am thinking maybe baskests on the book case would work better. I can't put the stuff in my cupboards because I lack cupboard space.

I am working my first 12 hour day since being back at work.Hoping to keep my days at no longer than 12 hours. I am also no longer working 7 day weeks, I decided that I needed to put my well being ahead of work/school, so I will be instead working 5-6 day weeks.

Going to try to get my roomate to help me finish putting the bike together this weekend, hopefully get to log some miles riding before Monday.

I saw my sister recently. She started weight watchers on her 40th birthday back in September with a group of friends and is looking fantastic, she has lost about 17 pounds...she is now 2 pounds away from her goal weight.

I should head to lunch, hope everyone has a good day.

So I got home at 530pm tonight and decided to start moving stuff out of the storage room to turn it into an exercise room and start putting the recumbent bike together. 3 hours later, my stuff is reorganized, the puzzle mat is on the floor, the bike is half together and I am sweaty and tired. The bike will have to wait until I get help, its a 2 man job from this point on out. I have to say I am surprised by how much work it was to get everything moved and get the bike even partially together.

Today is busy busy, but I am forcing myself to take time to make sure I eat and spend time at NS journalling my food.

I am thinking of ordering some of the frozen food breakfast and lunches..they look yummy. And I am not a big fan of regular NS lunches anyway. Has anyone tried them? Are they as good as they look?

I am going to try and assemble my recumbant bike tonight....wish me luck. If I manage to get it together I want to try it out tomorrow morning.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Well since I last blogged I have been off program most of the time because I was in and out of the hospital in my home country. It has been the roughest 2 months healthwise. I still have to under go a lumbar puncture and an MRI before they can fully figure out what is going on inside my head, but the upside is, I am finally on  medication that isnt affecting my heart or lungs and sending me to the hospital.  Yesterday I spoke with the director of my program and I may have to repeat my semester because I missed 6 classes out of 30.... :( And they may not let me start my next semester until all my heath problems have been dealt with. So I have been very stressed out lately because if I am not taking classes I cannot stay in the USA on a student visa and I would be a year behind. The silver lining is my weight has stayed within a few pounds of where I was when I stopped faithfully doing NS.  I am hoping to really focus on me first and school second for a little while. I bought a recumbent exercise bike this week, I hated going to the schools free gym, it was mostly athletes there staring at me the few times I went.
So over the weekend we got a ton of snow(18 inches) and more is supposedly on its way. I am snowed in....and finding that I am more hungry when I am bored. Its not so much that I am actually bored, I am at home studying but I am used to being at work and far way from tempting foods. I did ok yesterday tho. I am waiting on work out pants from Junonia....I ordered them Jan13th...I called customer service and they said they were waiting for shipping verification but should ship this week. I am going to start going to the local rec centre. It is free for students. I plan on 2 days a week, tuesday(I have no classes) and saturday. I really need the pants to get here, i cant go in the pants I work out in a home...they are in rough shape.
Hope everyone is having a good week.

So I have been gone a very long time. I went to Canada, in Dec. with plans of only staying 3 days, ended up there 2 weeks because of weather delays. Fell off the wagon, and have been seriously struggling to get back on. Then the last 2 weeks I have been struggling with health problems....so I am getting completely back on the wagon. I was good with breakfast, my problem was in Jan I would skip lunch and then eat more than I should at dinner. I was afraid to step on the scale for fear I had gained massive amounts in Canada. But things were ok. I weighed in today at 369.9...I am 6 pounds up..but overall not too bad..considering the last time I followed NS faithfully or journaled was back in Nov sometime. I am back going to try to stay fully on track, trying is not going to cut it only DOING something about it will actually count.

On a complete side note, I tried some of the new foods and here are my thoughts

turkey hot dog - pretty good, texture was a little softer than a regular dog, but close enough for me

bbq pork wrap- blech...did not like at all...and I love bbq pork. Will have to try it once more before I decide to write it off..

Banana nut muffin- ok, will order again for some variety but definitely not my fav

Double chocolate chip muffin - pretty good, some are a touch dry but I like them

Cinnamon Roll- Tasty...I really enjoyed them and have gotten used to the tiny size

Cereals(not new, but new to me) - I generally avoid eating cereal but have been a cereal kick lately, so far all the cereals I have tried I really enjoyed.

Time for me to stop talking and go grab lunch.

Well I saw my doctor again today, and my bp was down a bit but still high so she put me on a second medication :(

I also got vaccinated for H1N1, they were out of the injections so I had to have the nasal spray I have to say I am not a fan of having stuff sprayed up my nose.

In better news my 3rd shippment arrived yesterday!!!! I was so excited. I got my purple bear. I had a new cinnamon bun for breakfast....mmmm....very good. I cant wait to try the double choc muffin and the banana nut muffin this week. It is so great to have something other than tortellini for lunch. I really can not put into words how much I love the fudge graham bars. I tried the raspberry bar but didnt like it so much.

Anyway its 4pm, I have several more hours of work to do before I can go home and finally finish unpacking all my wonderful NS foods.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend :)

Tuesday was a bad day, I had a flat tire on the way to lab so I was late, several things went wrong in the lab, I got in to a huge argument with our lab tech. then I had to leave early to drive my roomate somewhere...he didnt tell me this until a few mins before we had to leave, on the way home, a jeep not paying attn almost crashed into us. When we got home I opened the fridge to make dinner and the one of the shelves fell so food came crashing down at my feet. My roomate suggested we order pizza.....I think in the past I would of done it. But instead I made a NS pizza with a salad and watched Biggest Loser. The evening got better tho , I decided to take my measurements...I lost  almost 5 inches off my hips and an inch of my waist and another off my bust...yay!

My order shipped today. Its so funny I feel like a kid at Christmas when the box arrives. Also looking forward to getting my 20 pound bear.
