To do good you have to do something.
We can read all the books we care to. We can draw all the knowledge we care to take in from reading. We can read all about losing weight. You may already have a bookshelf or more with all the latest findings on fats, exercise, diet, protein, water, what to eat and what not to eat, how much or how little to eat or workout. You have a shelf of tape and a new area for all the new DVD’s just telling you and showing you how to move and what to do, but are they still just on the shelf collecting dust?
Spring into action. We can write and journal all day long, but unless we are using the information to change, it’s useless. It’s just words on a page.
What are you doing? Are you doing anything? Are you changing or are you just going through the movements in your mind? Are you watching the TV and enjoying the exercise show or are you getting up and joining in? Too many of us keep all the knowledge in our heads and never take it out and use it. Are you doing this?
What good is eating Nutrisystem foods all day long and in the middle of the day or end of the day, your eating chocolate bars, a big bag of greasy chips or fries, an extra pizza, the cheese burger, the donuts, the bag of popcorn and nuts… whatever it is that your indulging in. We have read the books, charted what we are eating, going through the motions, but are we using what we have read and learned like we should?
To do good we have to do something. Are you using what you learned? Are you doing or are you just collecting head knowledge?
