Off to work in just a minute, but not before reporting my three pounds lost in six days. Yes even with the chocolate cake my peeps! Moving right along. I hope your doing great and have a wonderful day.

Love Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxBetty Crocker Complete Desserts Triple Chocolate Hot Fudge Cake.http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Archive/2009/11/19/506413.aspx2009-11-19T12:30:00Z2009-11-19T12:30:00Z
The burdens of a pre nutrisystem mind. As some of you know Eric and I are at home today and he is like me a sweet tooth junkie. A couple of days before my restart I bought both a yellow cake mix with milk chocolate icing to go on top and a Betty Crocker Complete Desserts (now get this) Triple Chocolate Hot Fudge Cake with real Hershey’s fudge and drizzling topping. So I made the cake the day I bought it. Yes it was Nov. 11th and Eddie said what’s the cake for and I told him it was for the anniversary of Veterans’ Day. Since our anniversary isn’t until the 22nd. What happened was everyone was getting some kind of coffee and cake at work and I wanted a piece of chocolate cake. They came back without my chocolate cake, so I said I was going home to make one which I did. LOL The Hot Fudge Cake looked like the cake at the Red Lobster, for those of you that know that cake. It’s to die for. Eric is sick at home so I decide to make the yummy chocolaty hot fudge cake. OMG it looks just like on the box when it’s cooked! Now I thought I would have a piece with Eric and I read the box to see the calories involved in a piece. !!!!! For one they say it has 6 pieces! The calories in one piece is 440, so right away I’m thinking one half a piece in place of my NS dessert or maybe a bite. Calories 440, fat 13g, cholesterol 5mg, sodium 550mg (A little high), but listen to this. Carbs, 78g, and sugar 53g.! Well we knew those would be high, but that is really high. I cut 12 pieces in the pan and that way 220 cals. Is like a real serving and one I can feel good about. So yes I had that half a piece and man was it rich and chocolate yummy. Eric ate two halves which makes me feel good that he had 440 calories instead of the 880 he would have had. No more dessert for me today. I hope I don’t regret it in the morning.

Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxSo far so good. I'm moving right along into day six. I'm being a good big girl. LOLhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Archive/2009/11/19/506335.aspx2009-11-19T09:53:00Z2009-11-19T09:53:00Z
Day six. I had to take Eric to the Doctor’s yesterday afternoon and he has strep, so no school for the rest of the week for him. I get to stay home with him today. I thought good, I get a day off work and then I went to put the back seats back in the Tahoe and pulled the muscles in my back. Oh boy. I always forget I’m not super women. LOL Now I have a different take of staying home and Eric said now he is going to have to take care of me.

I had part of a T-bone steak that Eddie grilled last night. Boy nothing like your own beef. Yes I was careful of the portion and all is well. Sherri and Eddie went for something sweet from the store last night and I didn’t get anything (yes they brought me something but I refused it). Star for me.

I hope your doing great.

Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxDay Five and all is well on this home front. It’s a rainy one here in NE GA. I took the day off work yesterday and Eddie and I went to the butchers to pick up our beef. It total filled the empty freezer and half the stand up one. We ran out of room. We also had plenty to share with out neighbors and the girl that works with me. It was all deep frozen so we could only try the ground beef last night. It was so perfect. This was the first time we sent anything to the butchers and we are so glad we did. It was so worth it. Nothing like your own meat.

Well here I go with day five. So far so good. I also got my hair cut yesterday, so I will have to spend some time before work with it. You know how that goes. LOL Have a great day everyone.

Love Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxNew reports on mammograms. Good or Bad?http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Archive/2009/11/17/505346.aspx2009-11-17T10:23:00Z2009-11-17T10:23:00Z
Have you ever had a mammogram and gotten the bjesus scared out of you? Well have you seen the new reports about not having a mammogram until your 50 now? I think I was about 35 when I had my first one. Yes of course, like everything else they put me in the high risk group. Yes cancer runs in the family, so of course I’m right up there on the Doctors so called list. I went like 7 years without getting a mammogram because my Doctor closed his practice and I didn’t want to look for another one. Yes I did the self exams on occasion. Then I started using my MIL Doctor and boy what a mistake that was. He now closed his practice too. But not before scaring me and my family to death and doing two biopsies on my left breast and telling me I needed to take some preventive medicine for cancer that would put me into post mental pause (ha ha, you know what I mean.). I wont have another one until I fell it necessary again.

Today I am bloated. I don’t know why. I just am. Yuck. TOM left on the weekend, so who knows why. All that gas last night about killed me. Thank you very much NS. Onto today.

Have a great day friends.

Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxNutrisystem you need to work on this.http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Archive/2009/11/16/505073.aspx2009-11-16T06:14:00Z2009-11-16T06:14:00Z
I love NS foods but there are some that I wonder what in the world! Back on plan and there was one thing I could have done without. The return of the nutri-toots. OMG NS you need to work on leaving out whatever that is that gives so many of us the nutri-toots. Sometimes, like tonight I can't even stand myself, never mind make my family have to put up with it. It got me on the elliptical to try to speed it through my system, but really can't you work on that? You can't even hold the explosions in! The smell could kill a skunk. Let's see if you can help with that. It would make for a nice Christmas gift, a new toot free recipe for all.

Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxYES! Today being the second day of my renewing my mind and body is some what different. I set my goals for the week and all is well, but then again it’s Sunday. The day of rest and well you know food, snacks, boobie traps (food trip ups). I started the day off well and put my morning blog up and even put my weeks goal out for everyone to see. Then I went to church and when I got home, OMG. MDH made his famous mac & cheese. You know the kind you can eat the whole dish by yourself and lick the plate too. I just froze in my steps. I stared in front of the dish and just stood there with my mouth hanging open. Now I didn’t tell my DH that I was starting new this weekend, because I have told my family that too many times over this past year only to give in just days later. I stood there thinking well I can have a small bowl after all NS allows mac & cheese. Then I wondered if I could stop at just a small bowl. My DH saying well aren’t you going to have any? I told him I was thinking and I’m sure I would get some. Which put a smile on his face, since I’m a big big fan of his mac & cheese. Then he went on to tell me how he used heavy whipping cream to make it extra creamy. OMG now what was I going to do? I said I had to make a salad, and so as I made my salad I took the smallest little glass bowl out of the cupboard and put two spoons loosely in the bowl. I sat down to eat and I ate two forks of it and left the rest for my DH to eat. Phew. I did it my friends. Then I kept walking by it. I was so tempted to just take a fork full each time but I didn’t. Then I put my walking shoes on and went for a nice walk outside with little buddy and on my way out the door I asked my DH to please put it up so I would eat anymore. He asked if I had been picking at it and I told him I wasn’t but that was too tempting for me. Let’s see I walked 15mins. Outside in the beautiful sun and then I came in to do my 10 mins. On my elliptical as set out in my daily goal today.

Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxS.M.A.A.R.T Have you set your goals?http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Archive/2009/11/15/504195.aspx2009-11-15T09:39:00Z2009-11-15T09:39:00Z
First Week.

Setting Goals and Keeping Track. I feel like I have been going around and around this year. I just called and had my start date changed with my current weight as of today. Now I feel like I'm starting over with day one being today. I also put a new goal weight which will be better to maintain for me. I love that I didn't gain all the weight back. I kept off 30 lbs. for two years! Wow! I love that. Now I will be working on the next 25. All new start. Just what I need. Have a great weekend my friends.

Now I need a new picture. I will have to get Sherri to take one of me.

Love you all,

Marie
Letsmovehttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Letsmove/Default.aspx
