Welcome to the  Freaky Friday Challenge for the month of June. Now is the time to get ready for summer and what a great way to start with a challenge.  You will need to post your pledge to lose 2 to 10 pounds and your beginning weight.  Remember Friday to Friday weigh ins so everyone will be the same.   

We will report our loss on the Freaky Friday Challenge blog parties each FridayReport right here on any of my Freaky Friday Challenge blogs (Letsmove). 

Stay 100% on plan.  Eating 3 meals, 1 snack, 1 dessert and drinking 8-10 glasses of water everyday, not just some days.  Follow the plan Nutrisystem has put you on.

Exercise 3 to 4 days each week for 20-40 minutes at a time.  Walking is a great way to start exercising. I walk some everyday and wear a pedometer. A pedometer is a wonderful little motivator that is worth every penny.  Wal-mart carries them for around $4-$5.

Report your loss on my blog (Letsmove) on Fridays or before if needed.  This is a commitment and is a big part of this challenge. 

We will have the biggest blog party each Friday and that is where you will report your loss for that week. We will have an Award Ceremony on Saturdays on the challenge blog to celebrate all your victories. Check in daily and report your good and off days, but not weight until fridays.

We are off to a great start, so lets stick together like crazy glue and stay 100% on plan. By the way Nutrisystem has plenty of sodium(salt) in all there meals, so there is no reason to add more salt to it.  It will only make your body retain water and make you feel bloated and heavier on the scale. Stay away from the salted peanuts, salted seeds, and salted popcorn unless your not planning to get on the scale the next day or two.

Good Morning Marie!!  I stayed the same this week, still 157.5 but I'm not complaining.  I ate "real" food 2 days in a row.  I had a rehearsal dinner on Friday and then a wedding on Saturday.  I went up 2 pounds at the beginning of the week because of it but I'm back down to my weigh in weight from last week.  I have noticed inches disappearing though, especially in my legs!  I'll take any kind of loss I can get!:-D  I'm hoping for 2 pounds next week.  Great job everyone!!

I pulled a pair of pants off the top shelf of my closet this morning that I was going to take to Goodwill and donate because they didn't fit anymore. I liked these pants and I hated to part with them. This morning they fit perfectly so now I guess I can starting chucking the 40" waist pants I had been wearing lately, because my belt won't hold them up properly anymore.

I didn't walk last night as I had a meeting to go to at 7pm and I didn't want to show up covered in sweat. It was very hot here yesterday and expected to hit close to 100 today in central Virginia. I am hoping to get some in tonight. Doesn't really get dark now until around 8:30 so if the thunderstorms hold out, I'll be fine. If not tonight, then early tomorrow morning before the heat hits.
We just got a new fitness center where I live but I've never really liked walking on treadmills. Too boring for me. I'd rather walk laps around a track or on a trail then go nowhere like that.
Thanks for keeping track of the weight loss for me. I couldn't remember what I reported last week so I am really looking forward to getting back to the 220s next week. I haven't been there since I left the Army Reserves back in 1988.

Add me to that dance floor 'cuz I'm mov'in and groov'n!!  Also had SEVERAL NSV's.  My neighbor said she can really tell I was "losing" weight.  OOOOOHH I know that had to HURT for her to say. But it was nice to hear...especially on my birthday!!!!!  WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!

I didn't really lose anything this week.  I'm at 168.8 lbs as of this morning and I think I started the weight challenge last Friday at 169?  I can't remember - so either I've gained a little or lost very little.  

But hey!  I'm not 186 anymore and that's what REALLY counts, right?!  :-)

I lost 0.2 which takes me down to 148.4 pounds. I was up over a pound this week, so I'm very glad I lost that, plus a teesny bit. The good news and the bad news is that all the Turtles are now gone, so I have no more temptations. This also explains why I went up one pound and through a bunch of work back down again!

I have to admit though I was pretty discouraged yesterday and  had low energy and went to bed earlier than usual! I also could feel that my body was going through something weird...well, the pounds were melting away! So far I'm liking the food and have stuck to the plan 100%!  I have even stopped drinking wine with dinner and substitute sparkling water or tea.  I usually walk my dog every evening after work.  I have back problems, so I am also going to start doing Yoga (I bought a DVD). Anyway, I'm looking forward to being a part of this "blog party" and hope you all will visit my page and become my friends!

i was gonna post this depressed blog about how i just technically lost one pound (which is a bit of a joke really, cuz the scale's been saying 190 since last saturday... even though it was 191 on friday) but i see all these other people in the same situation as me on here and then realize that i am normal. also, it's kinda weird but i "feel" as if i lost weight... lol. and so that's why it makes me cranky when  i step on the scale and it doesn't budge. also, i am at 190 so going down to the 180's is kind of a big deal! it's as if my scale is toying with me... going "nope! no, i'm not gonna show you a number that starts with an 8 in decimals... haha! take that!" yeah, i can just feel it mocking me... (i have an overactive imagination) :p

anyways. congrats to everyone who lost, and don't give up to the peeps in the same boat as me! eventually, we are gonna win over the scale! *shakes fist in the air*

I do hope I can make it to the gym again tonight at least for some light cardio - my bf is 5 inches taller than me, and 3 lbs lighter, he has lost the same amount of weight to date as I have and he started on NS 4-5 days after me... It's a little frustrating to say the least!
Thanks for keeping us all motivated! It really does help to have these challenges to count on!

hmm... i wouldn't say that it's hard... it's true that i  will miss a bunch of those kids (especially the brats! they're secretly my favourite... although don't tell them that!!) but i was only their teacher for two years so... although, i think i'm too young for them to take me seriously... they think i'm like this cool teacher, but they act with me as they would their friends... they don't respect me as a teacher. meh.

That's why I use my Lifecycle, Elliptical, and Total Gym.  I love to go out and walk around our property.  Down to the river and back is one mile and now we have a garden down there too.

I talked to the guy who works with me in my weight lifting and he said to try to swap dinner for breakfast, and then to eat less as the day goes on...which I have heard many times before. But decided to give it a try...only started that on Friday morning.  So we'll see. And I emailed NS counseling and they basically said to try to order more higher protein products, so I went over my autodelilvery and revamped it to include more of the higher end proteins.  Thanks for the encouragement.
