Freaky Friday and a great Sunday!

Good Sunday afternoon friends. Here comes the rain again.  Come on rain!

Well we finally had a good shower last night.  The ground was still wet this morning.  Saved on having to water the vegetable garden this morning. We just went for lunch at this Cajun Restaurant.  I had a salad, two pieces of shrimp,  a spoon of shrimp creole, and blacken fish.  Yum.  Yep 100% on plan :o) I was tempted to go get some more and I even told my husband I was.  I stopped myself.  I said I really had enough, even though I wanted to taste the fried green tomatoes and the shrimp and crab soup, I didn't. I made it home in time to report to you.  Ya baby I did good!

I hope you are having a nice quiet Sunday, Here is to another 100% on plan day. :o)

Morning Sunshine--Yes, it's still morning on the west coast.  I'm glad you were able to have lunch out and within reason.  I bet you're glad you stopped when you did unlike last weekend's munchy attack (lol).  Have a good rest of the day.  Betti

Yes I am proud of myself.  I remembered how great it feels to lose the weight and stay 100% on plan.  The temptation was there.  I won!  Thank you Betti.  You have a blessed Sunday too.  Marie

Hi Marie,
I am glad you finally got your rain. We had quite a storm last night, and it has rained on and off again today. All this rain, and it hardly registers in my rain gauge! So odd. This batch of moisture has brought cooler weather. I had to change out of my shorts and sleeveless top and put on jeans and socks! We are supposed to have cooler temperatures the entire week my dh is going to be home. I think he will be grateful because it has been 100+ in AZ!

Got on the scale this morning and I weigh almost 1# less than I did for your weigh-in on Friday. I am glad it is down so that I can show off for hubby. When he was home last, I weighed about 10# more than now. Yipee!

Enjoy your rain and the rest of your weekend.

He will notice how beautiful you look Karen.  I'm so happy for you.
It's sunny here now.  That rain was just a tease.  We did pray for a nice gentle rain.  Gentle but more needed.  It's 81 here so I'm still in my shorts, a pair that is by the way too big for me.  What's up with that?
Have a great time with DH and GS.

So when I weighed in for your Friday weigh in, I was 143.2.  Today at my one week anniversary on NS, I'm at 144.  Yes, .8 more than I was on Friday and only a 2 pound loss for my first week.

I am half way between encouraged and discouraged.  Discouraged b/c I was really hoping for more loss on week 1.  I know that the loss typically gets less and less on any program so it's nice to have a big boost on week 1.  But encouraged b/c 2 pounds are gone.  And my face looks a little slimmer (I think).  So hopefully my first mini goal of 142 will happen by Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

That is wonderful baby weight be gone!  Yeah!!!  I lost pretty steady the whole time, so don't be discouraged.  Be happy, you lost two pounds in your first week!!! Woo hoo!!! My average for the first 5 months was to lose about 10 lbs each of those months.  You can do it.  I'm proud of you.  Try not to get on the scale everyday.  It can be a downer at times.  Have a great day.  Marie

Another 100% on plan day.  A little extra nuts, but I think I will be fine.
So I went to take the puppy out and he decided he didn't want to go out.  Instead he decided to take a crap in my bedroom on my carpet.  OH NO HE DIDN'T?  Yep, a big old soupy pile of stinky crap.  I put his face in it.  Just call him sh-tfaced, and out he went.  I cleaned it up and my DH vacuumed for me.  What part of that was a turn on I will never know.  Absolutely nothing...

We had a bad morning this morning and neither my boyfriend or I had a chance to eat until lunch time (I was sleeping) so we ended up going out for lunch.
We both got salads. We were talking about all the food we couldn't have while we waited for our salads and looked at the cheeseburgers.
Then we started to eat our salads (Cobb - w/ no blue cheese crumbles and dressing on the side) and we were saying it was a really great salad, and it tasted really good, and all of a sudden we forgot we were being deprived!
Stayed on plan, had a great lunch and made the boyfriend feel less deprived on his weight loss journey! All in All it was a good day.
Glad you had a good lunch too - Congrats on staying 100% OP!
