Freaky Friday Challenge has been extended until August 1st. We are welcoming all newbies and anyone else ready to commit to being 100% on plan.

Good morning friends. Are you ready to weigh in?  Today is the day. Let's post how we did.

It's summer time and what a great way to start with a challenge. Let's get our bodies ready for the time of their lives. Yes, I'm talking hot, Hot, HOT.  We can do this and feel great!  Remember Friday to Friday weigh ins so everyone will be the same.   

We will report our loss on the Freaky Friday Challenge blog parties each FridayReport right here on any of my Freaky Friday Challenge blogs (Letsmove). 

Stay 100% on plan.  Eating 3 meals, 1 snack, 1 dessert and drinking 8-10 glasses of water everyday, not just some days.  Follow the plan Nutrisystem has put you on.

Exercise 3 to 4 days each week for 20-40 minutes at a time.  Walking is a great way to start exercising. I walk some everyday and wear a pedometer. A pedometer is a wonderful little motivator that is worth every penny.  Wal-mart carries them for around $4-$5.

Report your loss on my blog (Letsmove) on Fridays or before if needed.  This is a commitment and is a big part of this challenge. 

We will have the biggest blog party each Friday and that is where you will report your loss for that week. We will have an Award Ceremony on Saturdays on the challenge blog to celebrate all your victories. Check in daily and report your good and off days, but not weight until fridays.

Good morning friends!  How did you do this week?  Let's hear from you.

I did great! I stayed 100% on plan all week.  I am a Nutrisystem sucess story.  I lost three pounds this week.  I weigh 114 lbs this morning.  Staying true to the plan will work everytime.

Well, I'm not exactly sure how it happened, cuz I didn't exercise nearly as much as I felt I should have, and I did have a couple of non-NS nights, but I managed to somehow lose 3.8 pounds this week!  I even stepped off and back on the scale several times to make sure it wasn't a fluke.  Yeehaw!  I'm out of the 170's for the first time in...well, I just can't really remember the alst time I saw the 160's on a scale...LOL.  So, today the scale read 168.6.  Whoohoo!  You know, people at work have commented that I looked even thinner, but I was for sure it was just cuz I was wearing darker outfits - you know, the "black is slimming" effect and all, but I guess they were right.  So, even though I have a very emotional day and weekend ahead of me, my Friday morning sure started off on a bright note...and hopefully this will motivate and encourage me to stay focused and on track even when my emotions are trying to get the best of me this weekend.  Thanks everyone...especially Marie...for all the encouragement and kinds words of support.  I really don't think I could do with without all the terrific folks in the NS Community.  :)

I missed last week's weigh in so I think I may be down 2 pounds or so from then.
I've set a new goal of 218 which would equal a 40 pound drop from when I started in March so thanks for extending the weigh-in to August. I hope to hit finish this challenge at my new slimmer weight of 218 or less.

Holy smokes!  I just realized that means that I made my June goal afterall!  I pledged 8 pounds, and I've lost a total of 9 for June!  Whooohooo!!!  I forgot what my weight had been when this challenge first started, so I went back to that May 30 post.  And yes, this also means I've passed that 20 pound mark.  I'm lost a total of 23.4 pounds since starting NS on May 2...that would make today Day 67.  It seemed to take forever to reach that first 10 pounds, and I felt like I barely crept over that milestone, but today, I fell like I took a giant leap over the 20 pound milestone.  Sorry for being so long-winded today...just a great feeling that I wanted to share with everyone!

Well, I'm up 3 pounds from last week, but I had an 8 pound loss last week, so it averages out all right, for two weeks I lost 5 pounds.  I knew that big 8 pound loss was a temporary water loss.  Anyway, I'm still happy and only 1 pound off my goal of 2 pounds a week with a total loss of 11 pounds so far.

Lost 1 pound this week.  Hoped to go from 200's to the 190's but maybe next week.  I can celebrate a bit though.  I pledged to lose 10 pounds on this challenge and losing this 1 pound makes it 10 pounds even that I have lost on the challenge so far, plus, bear number 3 should be sent soon.  I am down a total of 30 pounds.  I really wanted to get out of the 200 range, but...2 out of three ain't bad.  Have a good week everyone.

Not a good start.  I don't know what happened, I worked out twice a day everyday this week except one day and even on that day I did the elliptical for 30 minutes.  I did stray off plan some on Wednesday but nothing major.  Anyway I am still down .8 so I will take it any day over a gain.  I was just really excited with all the exercise thinking I would have a big drop.  Oh well there is always next week.  Congrats to everyone who stuck with it again this week.  Robin

Thanks Marie - no haven't done measurements yet.  I am trying really really hard not to weigh in everyday only on Friday and measurements only on the first of the month.  I am one of those people who wants to get on the scale every morning but a trainer at my gym strongly recommended that I not do that and only weigh once a week because the day to day change can be so drastic she did not want me to get discouraged.  She also did my measurements on the 1st and reminded me Wednesday that I have to be there on Tuesday to measure again.  My abs are sore as heck so at least with that I feel the effects of working hard.  Once again thank you for all of the support during this you are a great motivator.  I will definately report the measurement to you......Robin

Yesterday was my first 100% day in at least a week. Last night's water aerobics class got me so tired that I went right to bed after and didn't even think about eating!  :-)

Oh no!  I'm sorry to spoil the party....I think I'm the only one so far who's gone in the wrong direction.  My scale was up today....showing 167.0.  That's almost a .5 lb increase over last week.  :-(   I've been overeating a bit on the blueberries lately because they're sooooo good, but I didn't think that would make such a difference.  And I also did 45 min on the elliptical on Tuesday, so I thought it would be OK to have those extra berries.  Maybe I'm just in that plateau Marie wrote about the other day....let's hope so!  

Anyway...a new week starts tomorrow and I'm gonna pledge to do at least 3 sessions of cardio for 45 min each this week.  I'm gonna make that goal by next weekend come hell or high water!

Thanks Marie...hehehe.  My dogs are doing great.  Harley hasn't gotten sick since that middle of the night mess.  She's getting steamed rice and boiled chicken for about a week, though, just to be sure her tummy calms down.  Sometimes I wonder if she's got that part figured out...if she goes out and eats some grass and "tosses her cookies" so to speak, that momma will make her rice and chicken for the next week...LOL.  Duke's vet visit went fine...just me being overly-paraniod.  I'm trying to work up the nerve to start packing Skittles' things for our road trip to his new home tomorrow...I know I have to do it, but it sure is hard.  Thanks for asking.

So the good news is, I "lost"  6 lbs this month.  The bad news is almost all of them were "do-over" lbs........UUUGGGGHHHHH.   I went back to my previous weigh in posts and realized that on 6/13 I post a gain of 2 which was true for the Friday weigh-in, however by Sunday I was up another lb.  So when I post my weigh in on 6/20 (down 2) I was going by Sundays weight, not Friday's.  This was my error due to daily weighing.  So, that makes me down one pound today (192...again).  I say again because that was my all time lowest (- 3 on 6/6  brought me to 192).  My scale is teasing me with a "virgin" pound but it wouldn't stop on it.  DANG!!!  At least It's going down and not up. Most importantly I'm not giving up!  I need to get rid of 2 lbs for a total of 20!  I pledge to have those 2 gone by July 4th.  DH and I are having date night tonight so I may be a little bad.  I'm so close to 20 that I can taste it!  I WANT it, so I won't go overboard tonight! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

So close to my goal for this challenge... I will have to reevaluate once I get there and decide on a new goal for August 1st!

I have about 4 weeks of NS food yet... that I will complete; so maybe I will lose a wee bit more.  My daughter says no more... weight Mom..you are getting thin.  Actually I am NOT.

Good Afternoon Marie.  I'm only down a half pound this week, but I'll take it!!  That puts me at 155.  Seems like the weight is coming off really slow but it is coming off so I won't complain.  I have yet to have a week where I can stay on plan 100%.  Every time I turn around I have to be at a birthday party, wedding, anniversary get together, etc., but I'm not gaining so I'll keep plugging away.  

Have a great weekend and I'll check back in next week.  It'll probably have to be Thursday because I won't be by the computer on Friday.  Til then........:-)  Teresa

Checking in Marie...so, so busy for the past few weeks...but since I did reach goal on the 14th, I have reached the challenge goal for myself as well.  I did not gain nor lose this week.  I have mixed "real" & NS foods all week, and gotten along great.  Even ate 2 tacos on corn shells for dinner with all the salad "stuffins" and no damage shown on the scales.  Just like it's supposed to happen, right?
I am also participating with water aerobics for one hour 3 nights per week.  Lots of good cardio and arm workouts.
Feeling great, and I will be posting my goal picture in the coming days.  Just haven't had time to take care of that detail yet.
Thanks for keeping everyone pumped!  The success is fantastic, and hopefully soon many more will feel the joy that you & I are sharing by tossing all the extra pounds away.  I've lost a total of 87#....and if we combine my loss & yours....welll....your current weight disappears.

My June Challenge was a loss of 10 lbs....and I DID IT, lost 13.6!!  Thanks Marie for extending this party for another month, I will pledge another 10 lbs even though I will be gone a week and a half in July to a church mission trip and will not be able to weigh in on 7/18.  Good luck to all of us this next hot month - maybe everyone needs to hit the pool for some water aerobics....I love the NS Community.
