Welcome to Nutrisystem Blogs
Letsmove's Blog
Freaky Friday Challenge.

Freaky Friday Challenge. Hello everyone. I hope this will be a great day for you with much success and happiness.  Hump day is here and there will be no bumps in this hump today!

It's summer time and what a great way to start with a challenge. Let's get our bodies ready for the time of their lives. Yes, I'm talking hot, Hot, HOT.  We can do this and feel great!  Remember Friday to Friday weigh ins so everyone will be the same.

We will report our loss on the Freaky Friday Challenge blog parties each FridayReport right here on any of my Freaky Friday Challenge blogs (Letsmove).

Stay 100% on plan.  Eating 3 meals, 1 snack, 1 dessert and drinking 8-10 glasses of water everyday, not just some days.  Follow the plan Nutrisystem has put you on.

Exercise 3 to 4 days each week for 20-40 minutes at a time.  Walking is a great way to start exercising. I walk some everyday and wear a pedometer. A pedometer is a wonderful little motivator that is worth every penny.  Wal-mart carries them for around $4-$5.

Report your loss on my blog (Letsmove) on Fridays or before if needed.  This is a commitment and is a big part of this challenge.

We will have the biggest blog party each Friday and that is where you will report your loss for that week. We will have an Award Ceremony on Saturdays on the challenge blog to celebrate all your victories. Check in daily and report your good and off days, but not weight until fridays.

Our pledgers are karensmarks, justlucy, kathrynk8, changa6925, kenricva, brindy413, ryansprincess, hvnlyhills, 321_blastoff, brittysmom, ready_to_look_gr8, enfant4, raglady, babalouie, jordjess2, plummer08, betti13, kerime, carwash2, darlenenew, bbbbb32000, 40_b4_40, puglover1999, dedeelighted, flutepharm87, pattytx, shell060, mommyof3angels, wodell, btonasket, abshoelutely, gebee, cloudnine, mborras, scv218, drhennel, mailoss, roykat, bettie4d, amydoodledo, genevievredelamere, gingstak, heavynomore1, big_dog_momma, rdkoos, spiritwind, dianna03077, obsidian88, refocused, life_light, timcahill98, gingericht, missliznj, mmcknatt, ladygail, sillyrabbit65, biggersam, dlynne3962, chonkie, packster, jerikin, nlwnicolelee, boricuablue, tightandfit, connie1220, beachbecca, hipster7, candie_girl, mountaineer47, danigolightly, 2bfitby40, blanquita19, going2bhotnsexy, holandcamsmom, yoliesooner, lovshelties, coco_chanelle, tylersmom85, bflanders2,brindy413, radiant_rebecca, cindiesimons, mrsbrandi, kbrewer6441, gnp-tx, nekhebet, christine314, and cyndi_lulu.

So many are worried about what the next challenge is.  I decided to extend our Freaky Friday Challenge out to August 1st (Friday) Weigh In.  You don't have to do anything different, just keep on keeping on.  Have a great day.  Marie

Cool - thank you for the long extension - as I have been going slow at the losses, maybe by then I can rack up 10 lbs.  As much as I love weekends, I hate them too - I keep telling myself, this weekend I will do it 100%, but always cave in for one excuse or another.  As I have my oldest, her kids, dogs and soon husband in town I know that I won't make it this weekend either, but will not stray too far off track.  It's funny - last Friday I weighed in at 185 - this morning I got on the scale to see if I had recovered from last weekend and it was 184.8 - now that's only .2 loss, but it's 184 not 185 so I was excited.   Have a wonderful Wednesday.  Judy

Here we go with Hump day.  Judy I know you can do it.  Girl it's moving down :o)  Slow but still down.  Just think what it would be if you could go one whole week without any cheating!  Just 7 full days, 24/7.  What week are we going to do this together?  I will be there for you everyday.  Let me know when you are ready to be supercharged.  Have a great day.  Marie

Good Sam.  I think it will help to carry everyone through the 4th of July holiday and a good part of the summer.  If we get on a roll of staying 100% on plan, just think of the possibilities.  How low can we go?  Marie

I hope they don't hender my loss!  I'm not sure what the challege is you all are doin'......but I'll stick with 100% on the plan knowing there are others out there "being GOOD too"!  Thanks for your inspirations!  Good Luck to everyone.

Did we start the Freaky Friday Challenge on 5/30 or 6/6?  I know I'm ahead of schedule over all, just don't know by how much.

Thanks.

P.S. Has anyone heard whether they've started the over 100 pounds bears yet?

Reporting another 100% day!  I'm actually excited about Fridays weigh-in.  After an all time down then up then down again, I know I'm going to get rid of some "virgin" pounds--NEW lbs I haven't gotten rid of!  I can't remember what my challenge pledge to get rid of was. I know I was striving for 10 gone, but was thinking realistic with plateaus, etc.  Do you still have what I pledged? Was it 5 lbs.?  I think I remember what my start weight was.  Anyway, hope your having a great day.
OH, and...PS    My days of being 100% are even WITH home-made BROWNIES AND OREO'S  in the house! (no thanks to sister-in-law).  If you look in Webster's, next to RESISTING, you will see my picture!  If you look next to "white-knuckling"...I'm NOT there!  Now I have to go contact Ripley's, believe it or not! *LOL* This just confirms and validates to myself how determined  I'm ready to look great!  Of course to me...feeling great and looking great are a "two-for"...two for the price of one!

Your going to do it Jamie.  Just hang in there and get rid of the brownies and oreo's.  I don't mean eat them either, in the trash, out the door,  give them away, gone out of sight.  Here is to another great 100% on plan day.  I have all the pledges at home and when I get home this evening I will post what it was for you.  Bye the way you can keep the sister-in-law just not her sweets, lol.  Marie

I was really happy to hear that you were extending the challenge.  I did so well last week while I was away that I have been surprised with how hard the transition to normal life is.  I haven't been on plan once over the past few days and it has gotten me down.  That being said today is a new day and I plan to be 100% on plan, to drink my water, and to find time to exercise!  Have a great Wednesday and I will see you on Friday.

How are we doing on 100% today.  Well, I just had a muffin.  I think that is fine as long as I replace it for my dessert.  That's what I'm doing.  That means I ate it 1.5 hrs before I would usually eat my dessert.  I may have a hard time come later.  I will have a diet soda and maybe a hot tea if I run into trouble.  Wish me luck.  Marie
