Repost for Sam and Jamie on the West Coast.

Here we go with day four of our pledge to be 100% on plan. No cheating Allowed. We made it through the weekend. Woo hoo!

For some reason the weekend can be hard to stick to the plan and stay 100%.  I know it's not just me either.  It's the different schedules we keep on the weekends that makes it hard to stay on track. Yes I made it through one more day of 100% as promised :o)

Sam to answer your question on the west coast.  Yes most of us were in bed on the east coast.  A habit takes weeks and months to break, but those old habits will sneak right back in if your not careful.  You have to learn new good habits to replace the old bad habits.  Reach for the fruit, instead of the cookies, ice cream, cakes, or donuts.  Reach for the veggies, instead of the chips, fried pies, or all those unhealthy munchy foods.  Grab your water bottle, instead of the beer can.  You have the power within you to change your habits.  Choose to live a longer, healthier, happier life.  Do it for you and the people you love.

Jamie I know you had a question too and I was already sleeping, so I forgot what it was.  Sorry I will be back later on the bottom of this blog with an answer.  Oh I think I remember.  Eat....Yes, that's it....Don't wait until you feel hungry to eat.  Go ahead and plan your meals out for the day giving time between each one.  You don't want your body to go into the hunger mode, or think your starving.  That will make you gain weight or at the least not lose any.  You need to eat your breakfast in the morning even if your not hungry.  So you get up at 7 and your not hungry until 12.  Go ahead and eat your breakfast at 9 and that way your body won't be yelling feed me, feed me you fool, feed me, lol.  I hope you try this and let me know how you are doing.

Well here we go with a Monday morning.  No cheating today.  See you all later.

Have a great day.

Marie

This is what I learned.  It took me 3 days of cheating to gain 3 lbs.  It took me 8 days of being 100% on plan and eating right to lose those same 3 lbs.  You do the math.
3 days + 3 lbs
8 days - 3 lbs
11 days to correct and set back the scale.
Is cheating worth it?
Not in my books.
Although munchies seem like they can't be stopped.  They really can.  How?  By not taking that first bite.
If you haven't taken the first step to recommit to being 100% on plan at least give yourself a chance and walk the walk with me until this Friday's weigh in.  Come on what do you have to lose but pounds.

Yeah no cheating!  Eating only the amount of allowed foods and nothing more or less.  We are doing this.  You are doing great and I am so proud of you.  Keep it up and you will be down before the week is up.  You can do this... I am doing this... We are doing this... Together we will do this.  Marie

All the way Sam.  Full effort and nothing less all the way to Friday's weigh in.  Good choice.  Best choice and really the only choice if you want to do the best for you.  Committing to stay 100% can be hard if we are only in part way, so let's go ahead and set our mind to No Cheating.  We are counting on each other for support.  You have mine 100% on plan.  Have a great night.  Marie

Thanks for the advise Marie. I did wake up at around 6:15am to have coffee with hubby before he left for work. Then exercised, and had breakfast--all by 9:30am.  WHOOOO HOOOO to me! I wasn't hungry but I remembered seeing a recipe that I was wanting to try for breakfast.  ALL DAY 100% NS.  The only thing I haven't had yet was my fruit for snack...I'm going to drink some juice before I go to bed to cover that. A huge success compared to Saturday night!
