Freaky Friday Challenge. Recommit to being 100% on plan with NO Cheating through the weekend and through next Friday. All are welcome to commit to being 100% on plan this week.

I have recommitted to being 100% on plan with No Cheating until next Friday.  Here we come up on the weekend.  Many of us have a hard time on the weekends with the munchies and eating out and being in the kitchen way to much.  Too much free time to sit around eating or thinking of food or watching tv with it's many commercials of junk food to tempt us.  So for this weekend I pledge to be 100% No Cheating and I will blog as the weekend goes on to let you know how I am doing.  Anyone else having trouble and need to join me before weigh in on Friday?  Just blog with me tomorrow and we can help each other and lift each other up and pull each other through the weekend.  I had a 100% on plan no cheating day today :o)  Recommit to yourself to do the best you can this weekend and week.  Marie

Marie, I will repledge with you to be 100% on the plan.  Each day I start the morning off thinking I will be good that day.  Then as the day wears on I find myself cheating here and there thinking just a little bit won't hurt.  I have to remind myself that that is exactly how I ended up overweight in the first place.  Thank you again for your dedication and hard work trying to help the rest of us.  Shell

Your welcome Shell. I did the same thing for three days last week, so this week I will be 100%.  So my day was great with no cheating.  Tempted not really but the guys just got back from the store with you know what's.  I looked, I saw, and I made me a cup on tea and took the puppy and my tea to my bedroom to watch tv.  No cheating for me and I meant it.  Sure the guys are eating chips, and cookies, and chocolate.  I have eaten on track all day and I am not fooling myself into any junk.  I hope you will make the same choice when it is in front of you tonight.  Marie

Marie,
I was doing a fantastic job. Staying 100% for months. My urges to cheat were only whispers, no longer yelling and tugging on my sleeve. I caved in one time, then twice, and then again. Now, it is harder to stay the course than it ever was. I have found that each time I cheat, it becomes easier to fall and harder to resist. I don't want to fail. That is not what I want for myself. I want to succeed! I am going to succeed. I guess it is going to be hard for a while until I can quiet those urges again, but I will do it. I know what I want. I will take this one day at a time, one hour at a time. I will go 100% with you because any less is not an option.

Hi Marie...

for some reason I decided to weigh myself again this morning (Saturday).  I felt like I was possibly having an "off" day yesterday because I was not feeling well, and possibly retaining water.  So, I got on the scale this morning, and it actually read 172.4!  That's a 2.4 pound difference from yesterday, so I'm guessing my weigh in yesterday had to be some kind of strange flukie thing.  Sooo...it looks like even though I had not been 100% NS last week, and didn't get any significant exercise, I actually did lose a pound.  (But I'm still repledging to be 100% NS this week)  I was 173.4 the previous Friday...and I'm almost to the 20 pound loss mark!  Anyways, just wanted to share the good news and update/revise the weight that I reported yesterday.

Thanks...
Cyndy
