What is a plateau? How did I get on one? Am I doing something wrong?

Relaxing In A Plateau.

Counting your blessing, even when you don't see it.  A plateau is a time when you become level and see no visible change on your scale.  What you don't know is that it is a blessing that you can't see.  It may be discouraging and could even make you mad or upset.  It may even make you want to quit.  I am here to help you get through it so don't give up.  Whatever you do don't quit being 100% on plan.  It's the second best thing of your weight loss journey, only you can't see it.  You may have lost every week and then it hits you.  OK you can make it through one week, but what happens if you stay on a plateau longer?

What is happening is your body is working overtime on the inside.  That's right.  You have changed the amount and kinds of foods you are eating.  You may even have added exercise too.  You whole body has gone into overdrive.  Yeah it has.  It's wonderful to lose all that weight, but somewhere on the journey your body will say hey wait for me.  It will say slow down and let me catch up with you and you will be slap in the middle of a plateau.  For how long I don't know.  One thing I do know is that it is a good thing.  It gives your body time to realign, organs and all.  It gives your skin time to shrink so it won't be so loose at the end of your weight loss.  Let you mind rest while your body plays catch up.  Don't give up.  You can do this.  Count your blessings and this is one. Just relax and enjoy your victories.

Have a wonderful day.
