FREAKY FRIDAY'S TUESDAYS POST.

FREAKY FRIDAY CHALLENGE. HAVE A GREAT 100% ON PLAN DAY AND TRY NOT TO GET OVERHEATED WITH ALL THIS 90-110 DEGREE WEATHER. DRINK LOTS OF WATER.

FREAKY FRIDAY CHALLENGE**** WEEK TWO*****  HERE IS TO A GREAT 100% ON PLAN DAY EVERYONE.

Welcome to the  Freaky Friday Challenge for the month of June. Now is the time to get ready for summer and what a great way to start with a challenge.  Remember Friday to Friday weigh ins so everyone will be the same.

We will report our loss on the Freaky Friday Challenge blog parties each FridayReport right here on any of my Freaky Friday Challenge blogs (Letsmove).

Stay 100% on plan.  Eating 3 meals, 1 snack, 1 dessert and drinking 8-10 glasses of water everyday, not just some days.  Follow the plan Nutrisystem has put you on.

Exercise 3 to 4 days each week for 20-40 minutes at a time.  Walking is a great way to start exercising. I walk some everyday and wear a pedometer. A pedometer is a wonderful little motivator that is worth every penny.  Wal-mart carries them for around $4-$5.

Report your loss on my blog (Letsmove) on Fridays or before if needed.  This is a commitment and is a big part of this challenge.

We will have the biggest blog party each Friday and that is where you will report your loss for that week. We will have an Award Ceremony on Saturdays on the challenge blog to celebrate all your victories. Check in daily and report your good and off days, but not weight until fridays.

Our pledgers are karensmarks, justlucy, kathrynk8, changa6925, kenricva, brindy413, ryansprincess, hvnlyhills, 321_blastoff, brittysmom, ready_to_look_gr8, enfant4, raglady, babalouie, jordjess2, plummer08, betti13, kerime, carwash2, darlenenew, bbbbb32000, 40_b4_40, puglover1999, dedeelighted, flutepharm87, pattytx, shello60, mommyof3angels, wodell, btonasket, abshoelutely, gebee, cloudnine, mborras, scv218, drhennel, mailoss, roykat, bettie4d, amydoodledo, genevievredelamere, gingstak, heavynomore1, cgroves3, rdkoos, spiritwind, dianna03077, obsidian88, refocused, life_light, timcahill98, gingericht, missliznj, mmcknatt, ladygail, sillyrabbit65, biggersam, dlynne3962, chonkie, packster, jerikin, nlwnicolelee, boricuablue, tightandfit, connie1220, beachbecca, hipster7, candie_girl, mountaineer47, danigolightly, 2bfitby40, blanquita19, going2bhotnsexy, holandcamsmom, yoliesooner, lovshelties, coco_chanelle, tylersmom85and bflanders2.

Is your name on the list? Pledge here today. If your name is on the list, did you remember to report your beginning weight?   Did you remember to pledge an amount between 2-10 lbs you wish to lose for the month of June?

Here we go with week two, so lets stick together like crazy glue and stay 100% on plan. By the way Nutrisystem has plenty of sodium(salt) in all there meals, so there is no reason to add more salt to it.  It will only make your body retain water and make you feel bloated and heavier on the scale. Stay away from the salted peanuts, salted seeds, and salted popcorn unless your not planning to get on the scale the next day or two.

Good morning everyone! I hope you will go out and make this a great day.  It's been so hot here these last few day.  It about 10 degrees hotter then normal here.  It has cut down my walking because at 90 it's just too hot for me. Drink lots of water and don't stay in the sun more than half an hour in this high heat.  Have a great 100% on plan day.

Marie

Hi Marie, Congrats on the new puppy! We got our puppy two years ago about this time, its like having an infant all over again, talk about a new work out program.  I read about your Sunday munchies and had sigh...I was going through the same thing on Sunday, every other day of the week I don't seem to have too much trouble but so far the Sundays have been really hard.  It is the one day I have to be home to do laundry, clean etc.....so after church it seems I am just too close to the kitchen....I can't not be home that day, but being home too long is very hard for me right now.  Hopefully this will ease with time as I change my eating habits.  Glad to hear you made it through your Sunday safely, I did too, but I got very crabby.   DeDee

Good morning
I am sticking with the program and do not seem to be having any problem yet. I feel the difference.
It is really hot and humid here in NY. Way hotter than it should be. High 90s, very unusual for this time of year. Some schools even have been having only half days because of it.(Last day is the 27th).
I haven't done my walking like I usually do but get to Curves every day. Just too hot. Even the lawn has to wait to get mowed until it is cooler! I do go out and wash the car though!
It is very easy to get 8+ glasses of water in!
Have a great day.
Connie

DeDee a puppy is just like a baby for sure.  He is up at work with me today and so is my 15 yrs. old son (helper).  Weekend are harder on everyone I think with all the free time to pass through the kitchen all day.  I try and get out too some, but it was way to hot this weekend.  I didn't have Sherri around in the afternoon after I dropped her off at camp on Sunday.  I guess I didn't use my free time wisely. Live and learn.  Back on track 100% since then :o)  Marie

Hey all... sorry i haven't been on... i've had a bad couple of days and been hiding out... :p (wrote a whole blog about it :p) I've been 100% today though so... i'll take my little victories one day at the time. ^_-

but… I just realized something. It just kinda suddenly hit me. There was something in the daily dose a few days ago about how we should realize that this is a long term plan and not a quick fix. And since I’ve started again, and since I know that I’m heading to japan, I’ve been so focused on trying to lose weight before my departure and then my loss started stalling and I got progressively crankier and crankier… and last weekend I went off plan and have been feeling terrible about it all day. I think I just realized it doesn’t matter how much weight I lose til I go to Japan, if I don’t plan on continuing to lose while I’m there… it might not be with NS, but this weight loss thing, it’s gonna take time. I can’t rush it. As long as I don’t give up.

That's right Nessa!  It's a life change learning how to eat right and how much.  We all slip up every now and then. Even I did this Sunday.  The trick is to learn what caused you to go off plan, and how can you change that from happening again (What makes you go off plan?).  Can you plan better for that situation in the future? How quickly you realize means how quickly you stop in your tracks and change course.  It's being in control of what goes into your body and not letting the foods or people dictate what goes in it.  I know it's hard.  It's hard for me too.  Marie

Hi Marie!  iIhave really been having a tough time staying 100% on the plan.  I'm an emotional eater and it just seems as though there is ALWAYS something happening that pushes me over the edge- and then I begin to munch on whatever is around.  I can't believe I'm still doing it after being on NS for seven months and losing 40 pounds, but I am.  It feels like I am fighting against myself for every pound.  Do you have any suggestions?  Thanks.  Shell
