Day 26, gearing up for month 2
My first month on NS ends this Friday.  As of this morning I am down 5.8 pounds.  I hope to close out the month with a total loss of 6 pounds.
I'm really excited to take all the stuff I've learned in the first month and apply it to my second.  Feels like another shot to do it better!  I've been exercising more lately and plan to increase my activity even more.
My only concern is my BBB was delivered today and no one is home so the FedEx driver left it on our front porch.  We live in a city and I really don't like this, I'm super paranoid it will be stolen.  Does anyone know if there is a way to have a signature required or to leave instructions for FedEx?

My Tickers

Having packages left can definitely be a challenge. I haven't figured out how to deal with it myself. The only time it was really bad was during the summer and all the chocolate anythings melted. It was pretty terrible, but after some time in the fridge they all were fine to eat again, if misshapen. I live in NYC though so I see your concern about just leaving a package like that. Honestly I'm not sure what to do, but if you find out how to handle it, let me know!

Thanks! I think I might call a counselor and ask. My chocolates melted because I stored them too close to the heater (duh!)and I had to use the fridge too.

Maybe call NS customer service and tell them you wish to have a required signature for your future deliveries...what will they do if your package is stolen from your porch? They already took your money so...?!

I think there is a way you can ask FedEx to hold it for you, but then you have to pick it up. Customer Service can probably help with that. No one needs melted chocolate!! Although, right now, we would probably all have frozen food on the door step!

If you have the tracking info you can go to the website and place a hold at facility.

You can add notes for the driver to leave elsewhere.
