well its been a while since my last post. Thankfully the holidays are over and things are back to normal. Never really been on a diet before and I knew the holidays would kind of suck but it wasnt that bad. I've been doing real good and decided to stay away from the scale for those 2 weeks during xmas and new years and that worked out good. Im down 4 pounds from my last weigh in on 12-17. Thats 34 pounds in 13 weeks and that is pretty shocking to me. First diet Ive ever been on. I've never really ate very much but I can tell I was not eating enough of the right things. It seems like I hit a plateau for a while but while theres no weight loss I do notice my shape is changing, then the weight loss kicks back in. The exercise is a breez now and really feeling the results, so all is well and really enjoying this diet. Good luck to everyone and thanks for the nice comments.
Things are going great. This has been a really simple diet I just wish I didn't start in oct and have all the holidays and parties to deal with. I do ok but it doesn't take much to upset the calorie count. Anyways down to 190 today that's 30 pounds lighter and half way to the 160 Im supposed to be at. At first I didn't really think 160 was realistic but now it seems its very possible. I think I was in high school last time I weighed 160 haha that's a long time ago. The exercise is going great. I probably wont write for a couple weeks so have a good Christmas and new years everyone.
its been a while since I wrote anything so heres a quick update. So far 25 lbs gone! Only 1 lbs this week though. Thanksgiving probably didnt help. But I've also noticed that the 3 lbs a week seems to have slowed down a bit. Im following the program and not cheating, except for thanksgiving dinner. I never took any measurements but I do see my clothes looking and feeling a lot looser. Oh and I will need a new belt soon, the old one is to big haha, so that is cool. The gym has been great. No problems jogging and the distance is up to 2 miles but I think saturday I will just go for 45 min and see how far I go. My only complaint is Why do my pretzels always show up crushed up into little bits?! Hope all is well with everyone and enjoy the holidays.
well another 3 pounds gone. That seems to be my average since the amazing first week 9 pounds, but 3 a week is ok. I dont feel hungry and I really havent had any issues with the food its all tasted good to me. The exercise is going great. I think I can up my distance jogging but Ill do that next week, not really in a hurry to run further or longer hahaha. So far eveything has been great, thanks for the comments in my other posts and good luck.
Week 2 and 3 pounds lighter. Seems this is a more realistic loss then the first week. Been going to the gym and feeling good and starting to see results so that's pretty cool. I'm going to be a little more careful about the measurements for my veggies at night, I didn't realize most of them were supposed to be 1/2 a cup cooked so well see what that does next week. Otherwise the foods been good (sometimes tabasco sauce helps haha), not really feeling hungry, and no afternoon energy crashes.
weigh in today, and 9 pounds less. Not bad for the first week. I havent felt hungry and the foods been pretty good. Started back at the gym yesterday and everything feels good. Looking forward to next weeks weigh in.
well so far things seem good. I'm not hungry and the food is better then I thought. Maybe all my time in scouts eating freeze dried food has made eating this stuff easier ha ha. I will say that I'm eating a ton of vegetables. Seems like I've forgot to eat them in the past, but they do fill you up. I know Ive lost a few pounds, but Tuesday is the weigh day so Ill wait till then to update. Ill start back to the gym on Monday. I want to try this diet out for a week and see how I felt before going to the gym. I'm interested to see how that goes. I had been going to the gym regularly for the last 5 years but had kind of plateaued and wasn't getting any results, and was actually gaining weight which is what stated this whole thing with nutrisystem! The exercise just made me hungry. Hopefully since I'm now eating better the results will start to show up.
