I have stayed clear of the boy and I am attempting to move on. I have to say that I'm quite smitten with someone else for the first time in a REALLY LONG time!! I'm trying not to get too excited because we haven't had any discussions about dating, but it feels so good to have such a crush on someone again. I haven't had a crush in years! He's a total sweetheart, funny, has a great personality...oh and I think he is a major HOTTIE! LOL. :)IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxNew Years Resolutionshttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2010/1/13/532416.aspx2010-01-13T01:33:00Z2010-01-13T01:33:00Z
Ok, so I know I'm a little late with this post...I should have posted it January 1st! Now is as good a time as any to put my resolutions in writing and hold myself accountable.

I am going to stay strong and NOT go back to J (the guy I've been in love with for 4 years). The only way he will ever win me back is to prove that he wants a real relationship with me. He's been playing with my heart for way too long and I need to show him that I'm serious about my "it's all or nothing" philosophy with him!

I am going to make it a point to try and do ab workouts every day...whether that be at the gym or at home. My gut is just way to flabby for my liking. I'm headed to Florida in March and I really want to have a more toned tummy by that point. My motivation is that I want look good in a swimsuit.

I am going to switch up my workout routine a little bit. I used to do weight training (with 30 mins cardio) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday...with straight cardio on Tuesday and Thursday. I didn't feel like I was getting enough toning in my thighs and rear end though...so I think on MWF I will do cardio and train my arms, then on T/Th I will do cardio and train my legs/butt. Again, motivation is so that I look good in my swimsuit!

Finish paying off debt! Winning the BeautiFALL You contest helped me pay off a huge chunk of my debt, but I still have a good amount to go. I am dedicating more money per pay check to my credit card bill (and cutting back on spending)!!

Alright, so now that it's in writing (and all of you can see it) I have to hold myself accountable for all these resolutions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxBeautiFALL You Contesthttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2009/12/23/519474.aspx2009-12-23T10:47:00Z2009-12-23T10:47:00ZWow...thank you all for the congratulations! I was completely shocked and felt so blessed when I received the call that I won. This was a very big blessing for me because I had a lot of debt to get rid of...I know have a huge weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that most of it is gone!
I'm hear to tell you all that NS can change your life if you are committed. Be sure that you stick to the program, drink lots of water, and exercise. I know it isn't always easy, but if you fall off the wagon you just need to get right back on at the next meal. I also want you to realize that you too can win a contest like this! Make sure that you submit your essay and before/after photos at the next contest. We are all winners already, but to have NS pick you as a winner makes you feel even more accomplished then you already feel!
I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed holiday season! Thank you all for your support!!
Love,

I added Splenda Brown Sugar, BBQ Sauce, and Mustard...I know not the healthiest, but I needed something to help me choke it down!!IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxNew Food Optionshttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2009/12/2/511941.aspx2009-12-02T10:55:00Z2009-12-02T10:55:00ZI was so excited to get my order yesterday with the new food! Here are my thoughts so far:
Mexican Tortilla Soup - pretty darn tasty!
Sloppy Joes - HORRIBLE...took one bite and almost got sick. I will be sending the other 4 packs back for replacements!
Thin Mint Bar - Really good, almost tastes like the Girl Scout Thin Mints!
Double Chocolate Muffin - AWESOME...heated mine for 10 seconds in the microwave and it was ooey gooey!!
Turkey Dog - Not bad...kind of mushy but tasted like a veggie hot dog.
Swedish Meatballs - Really good!
Peppermint Cookie - Yummy...tastes like a York Peppermint Patty!!
So far the only thing I hated was the Sloppy Joe (huge disappointment for me because those are what I was most looking forward to trying). Hopefully the other new items continue to be a hit!IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxNew Food http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2009/11/24/508923.aspx2009-11-24T07:20:00Z2009-11-24T07:20:00ZI'm so excited to try the new menu items! I haven't placed an order since May because I was so stocked up with food (I had many friends quit the program and donate their food to me). Recently I have been quite bored with my option so I was excited to see new items. I just placed an order for next month and can't wait to get it!!IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxZUMBA!!!!!!http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2009/11/7/500631.aspx2009-11-07T01:35:00Z2009-11-07T01:35:00ZWhat a gorgeous Fall day! It's already started off on the right track too. I attended a 2 hour Zumba party at Gold's Gym to help the American Diabetes Foundation during the Burn-A-Thon. It was a BLAST! I love Zumba (even though I have no rhythm or coordination) because everyone is just there to have a good time. No one cares if you are good at it or not. In two hours I burned 1327 calories while having fun...imagine that! :)
I hope everyone has a blessed day!!IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspx5 AM Workouthttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2009/9/30/480105.aspx2009-09-30T07:32:00Z2009-09-30T07:32:00ZI am not a morning person...anyone that knows me can tell you that. However, this morning my co-worker talked me into going to the gym at 5 am. I told her she was crazy, but that I would attempt. That meant setting my alarm for 4:45 and rushing to be there by 5 (this from the girl that wakes up at 7 to get to work at 8). Anyways, I really enjoyed it...other than the whole waking up early. Once I was out of bed and to the gym it was great! I burned 680 calories and now I have an extra half hour of time to get ready for work!!IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxMy new fav way to get proteinhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2009/8/1/434222.aspx2009-08-01T11:58:00Z2009-08-01T11:58:00ZA friend of mine introduced me to Soy Milk with Soy Protein and I'm pretty excited to have a new way to get some added protein! You take 8 oz of Soy Lean Chocolate (70 calories) and 1 scoop of Soy Protein Vanilla (170 calories). This morning instead of doing NS breakfast I took that protein shake and added 1/2 banana and 1 tsp peanut butter...it was pretty delicious!!IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxI'm still here! :)http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Archive/2009/7/27/431751.aspx2009-07-27T10:14:00Z2009-07-27T10:14:00ZI've been MIA for a while on the site...mostly because I'm addicted to Facebook. LOL. Partly because I have had a really tough month with work and in my personal life. Due to the stress I have gained 4-5 lbs in the past month, but today I vowed to get my butt back in gear. While I am still under goal, I do not want to gain any weight back and I still want to see 155 (my new goal)!
So I'm still here and I'm now back on the site tracking my every bite! I hope all my NS friends are doing well and having continued success!!!!!!IrishKT83http://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/IrishKT83/Default.aspx
