FLAX SEED PASTA

Yesterday I mentioned that I served my family flax seed pasta for dinner.  Flax seed is high in omega-3 fatty acids.  It is really good for you.  Plus it makes your body work like a clock (and not in a nutritooty way).  Anyway, I bought it at Trader Joe's.  But when I went to get more today, there wasn't any!  I really hate it when Trader Joe's stops stocking products with no notice.  We bought penne and rotelle flax seed pasta there very recently.

So, if you are interested in flax seed pasta, I strongly urge you to write to your Trader Joe's and ask that they bring it back.  Do it for me...we need it!

Oh, we also eat Uncle Sam's cereal - higher in calories because of the flax seed, but it's like (forgive me) "Colon Blow."  Remember that cereal commercial from Saturday Night Live with Phil Hartman?  I still laugh when I see it.

OK.  Enough questionable humor for one night!

Peace and joy ~ Shannon

WOW - I use to eat Uncle Sam Cereal when I lived in Michigan. I don't find it at Vons or Trader Joe, or Stater, nor Ralphs. I had given up on finding it. So where do you get the Uncle Sam.

That's an old Cereal . I use to eat it when I lived in Michigan in the 80's...also bought it when I lived in Belgium at the Military Commissary.

Thanks for reminding that I like Uncle Sam Cereal.

I'll check on the Flax Pasta when I'm in Trader Joe's tomorrow.

Colon Blow - HAHAHAHAHA!!! Why is "poop" humor so darn funny?

I'll dash off a letter to Traders Joe's and request the flax seed pasta, as soon as I can stop laughing.

Two Weeks, cupcake!!
