One month into the program
This program has shown that it does work.  I, however, have been struggling with additional food I'm supposed to eat (having more than 100 lbs to lose).  I have proportion distortion, and it is a bit of an annoyance.  Does anyone else experience the same thing?

When I really am commited sometimes I think I'm eating to much and cut my food intake. I'm gonna eat all the food they say because it's designed that way. I havent gotten my food yet but have reading and writing blogs for 3 weeks. It's been great. Good luck!

I am right there with you. I have over 100 pounds to lose and I struggle getting all the foods in. My biggest issue is the two vegetables at night. Several other members told me to use V8 juice for my vegetable and that is what I have been doing. You have to eat what they say to get the results that you want.

V8 juice is a great idea! I'll have to try that! Thank for your input!

I weigh everything so I know for certain whether I have the right size portions or not. I have a whole series of measuring devices including a scale.

Go for the low bulk items just like v8. On hungry days for the bulkier foods like raw veggies. However, be happy that you CAN eat more food than you want. Eat everything though. It's healthy eating.

I've been dieting for so long and I had a hard time eating all the food at first. (One of the reasons I failed at WeightWatchers was with 28 points for the day, I often found myself with 18 or so left at the end of the day. I just could not eat all they wanted me to eat.)

V8 is good and so are fruit juices although you only get a 1/3 to 1/2 cup. I like to add the fruit juice to my water. Gives it a little flavor/sweetness so I tend to drink more water.

Watch the calories on the NS entrees as there is a wide range in each meal category. It took me a couple weeks to realize this and there were days where I unknowingly selected a breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack on the low end of the range and found myself with a hugh calorie deficit for the day and went crazy trying to fill it with veggies and free foods. Not easy to do when a cup of some of those veggies only has about 14 calories! Now I try and plan my day the night before or in the morning. If I have a breakfast and lunch on the low end, I make sure I have a dinner and snack on the high end.

There are still some days when I feel like I've got way too much to eat and I'm only hitting 1000-1100 calories. It takes careful planning to get it into the 1200 range without feeling like I'm eating constantly.
