I haven't posted anything in a while and just wanted to check in with you all. I'm still on that weight loss train!! Woo Hoo! 30 lbs GONE!
So all you newbies keep it up and stay strong! Success will come to us all one pound at a time. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Go Cowboys!!!Bonnbonhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Bonnbon/Default.aspxThis Train is Moving onhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Bonnbon/Default.aspxhttp://blog.members.nutrisystem.com/Blogs/Bonnbon/Archive/2009/12/10/514753.aspx2009-12-10T11:46:00Z2009-12-10T11:46:00ZDown the Weight Loss Tracks!!! I am so excited today and just wanted to give a Shout Out to you all. I am currently down 26 1/2 lbs since beginning the NS Program. It is a slow loss, just about 2 lbs a week, but I still think it is best for me. By losing slowly, I feel that I will be able to keep those useless, unwanted pounds off and maintain my goal weight. And one more thing;
It's early December, and the holidays will always offer temptations, so take it from me. YOU CAN SURVIVE! I went through Thanksgiving and my birthday and did not gain. Now if I can do it, all of you can too. I feel very blessed to be part of such a wonderful group, and want to be as much support as I can to anyone needing it.
Thanks so much for all of you and I want to wish you the best of Holidays this year.
Merry Christmas!!
Love to all.

I am proud of myself for not overdoing it on my Birthday/Thanksgiving (they both happened to be on the same day this year). I told myself and my family, that I was not going to stray too far from the NS Plan. It was not as tough as I thought it would be. I had my NS breakfast and then ate small portions for lunch/dinner. I made pumpkin pie with fat-free milk and Splenda; and used fat-free whipped topping. My step-daughter said it was great and she could not tell the difference. But for the rest of the family I made the original pies. They are too spoiled. lol

I know this bragging sounds egotistical, but I just want everyone to know that we are all in this together, and I am happy to be part of such a great group/family. If any of you need a hug, or a shoulder, just give me a shout. Stay Strong!!!

Love yas!

I've been waiting for my health screening results and they arrived today. Good News! My cholesterol has dropped 14 pts and all the other 'iffy' areas are now in the normal range. I am so glad to see the improvements. I know I just posted a blog last night, but I couldn't wait to let you all know this tidbit.

Again, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful Holiday Season. Like many others, I have a multitude of things to be thankful for. And my health is one of my top priorities.

Stay Strong!!

I haven't posted in a while and I am so happy. I have now lost 24.5 lbs!! But the best part is the inches that have dropped too. It is great to look in the mirror and actually see the difference. This plan works and I am attesting that fact.
I also want to wish everyone Happy Thanksgiving! We will all be busy with friends and family, so I wanted to send my good wishes out just a little early. Thank you all for your continued support. Love yas!

WOO HOO! It feels great and I want to thank my NS Family and Friends for their continued support. It took a while to get here, but it was well worth it. For all you new members, don't despair, you will have good days and bad ones. But don't let the bad ones get in the way of your goal for a healthier lifestyle. Keep on the plan and you will definitely get results! This is the most caring and supportive group I've been involved with, and you guys are wonderful. Stay strong and keep your eyes on the prize.

Note to Moderator: Can I please get my NS Bear in my upcoming delivery? Just wanted to update my NS Friends and Family. I've been out of town for about 10 days and I SURVIVED!! Went to Las Vegas Baby and did not gain. Had a great visit with my brother and had a lot of fun. I took my food bars and a few snacks, and did not have much trouble staying close to the plan. My husband was a great supporter and helped me choose protein and salads for fill-ins. This seems like a slow loss compared to others, but I feel better every day. My 1st NS Bear arrived while I was gone, and now I'm looking forward to the 2nd one. I'm very encouraged and probably won't have to cheat at all! You are all great and this is one of the best groups I've ever been involved with. She is too cute! Hope you all have a great weekend!

I've seen several comments and questions regarding birthday celebrations. Well, I have a double-dilemma: Not only is Thanksgiving coming up, but that day is also the day my birthday falls on this year. Talk about trouble w/cheating!

So, I'm asking for a democratic vote: Cheat just a little, or not at all? I would rather not cheat, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!
