I'm not going to weigh for a while yet, as we are done with the music festivals. This week is my birthday week and of course the 4th of July. After we come back, I will get very serious till August 1st. Thats when I leave for Boston.

on the 20th, I was 1 lb to goal and the next few weeks will be pretty tough to diet, with all the stuff we are doing. I cancelled my food and have 14 days of food left so after all the party's are done and things quite down, I will use those meals to help get me back if need be. After that its off to Boston for my Son's wedding for 2 weeks. We'll see what happens !!!

Another 1 1/2 lbs down this morning. So my goal is right there ahead of me, and my guess is I will hit it next week or the week after, but can't guarantee it. We have a 3 day country music fest next week right here in town and the week after, we will be gone for 6 days to another music festival. I'm not sure how it will all add up weight wise, but I'm gonna try to do the best I can.

Creeping towards my goal. I weighed and blogged this morning, because we will be gone for the weekend, and won't be able to do my Saturday weigh in. I was down 1 more pound and have 3 to go. Still a very slow processbut moving in the right direction.

This is actually better than I expected. As I said last blog that the holiday weekend I consumed way to much of the bad stuff and really expected to be up at the weigh in this morning. Turned out to be the same as last weigh in, so actually I am quite happy. Goal is just 4 lbs away.

I'm blogging today because, I tried to do it on Friday the 22nd, but something was wrong with the NS site, and it would not let you do anything. Regardless I was down another 1 1/2 lbs. This week may tell a different story as I indulged in a little partying and wrong things to eat over the holiday weekend, so if I'm up a little, I'll except that. We will find out on Saturday when I weigh.

I went into Mothers Day week from a bad week and as I have said in the past, you can not be on a diet and be around my mother very long. Well, that goes for my sister also, and she had a Mothers Day brunch at her house. The food, was plentiful and delicious, I brought a fresh fruit tray as my part. There was coffee cake and sticky buns, that you just had to eat !So, long story short, after all that I did have a great week and lost 2 lbs. Let's just end saying, I was shocked.

You know, I knew this morning was going to be bad on the scale, but what I can't figure out is when the "good" news comes, it comes so slow, and when the "bad news comes, it hits you like a freight train. We went out with another couple last night for a late dinner. I had an entree salad made with briscket and a couple of light beers. Now this is after a whole week without being on the scale and strictly NS. This morning, up 2 lbs. If this makes any sense. I was so mad it was laughable !!!! Its like crawling up a mountain and one little slip and down you go.

Last week I was stuck from the week before, but today I have 15 weeks in the record books and was down 2 1/2 from the last reading. Only thing different this week was I switched up a couple of dinners for lunches. That seamed to have kicked me into gear again.

No weight loss this week, but I kind of expected it. Had some of my mothers cooking last weekend and I'm sure I gained a little and lost back to this point. You can't be on a weight loss program and have her cooking around, it just doesn't work. Better luck next week, I guess.

It's the end of the 13 th week and down 1 1/2 lbs again. I really wish the weight would come off faster, but like they say 1 to 2 lbs a week is very healthy weight loss. As long as I keep going in this direction, I will be satisfied. The weather outside is improving and I can be a little more active so that will help.
